    If Floyd fought Margarito....

If Floyd fought Margarito and won a UD by keeping distance and using speed and going toe to toe as minimal as possible, would you respect Floyd for taking the fight and winning or would you criticize him for the manner in witch he fought? I know that talk of this fight brings a lot of opinions so I just wondered what those who want this fight would think if this is was the result. I for one would love to see the fight. Thoughts?

I'm assuming that those who didn't like Floyd vrs Baldomir wouldn't like a fight like the one I described.

We've seen Floyd box people's heads off. Floyd is a HOFer with not much less to prove. Lets see him ****ing please the fans for once. If he beat Margarito like he beat Corley or Hatton I'd be impressed. Of course he won't be able to KO Tony, but if he could beat Tony in a brawl it'd be amazing. He is beautiful to watch and I'd love to see these two fight, but outboxing Tony in a Baldomiresque performance proves **** all to me.

In your dreams, Floyd will step up to the plate.. Floyd will always eb labeled as a coward.. No way that happens since Margarito and Cotto tried everything and what did Mayweather do?

If he really wants to be immortalized he needs to fight people who can hit him back. Pacman is one fighter who has the handspeed and quickness to make Floyd fight in a give in take match up. Thats one of the things that makes floyd so disliked among boxing circles! While he is without a doubt one of the best fighter of the last 10 years he would need to be part of a give and take war before he is given credit as an ATG.

Of course he would get respect from me. It's crazy to think anything otherwise. What, so in order to get credit for beating Tony you have to slug it out with him? That's crazy.

If Floyd boxed off his back foot while Tony was applying all that pressure, and completely outclassed him, yes I would be impressed. He's a boxer, how could he be criticized for out-boxing Margarito, that's pretty much the only way you beat him.

well i think not being offensive at all is exploiting the flaws in the scoring system...lets just leave it at that.....

id give decent credit though...only a fool wouldnt...

Yes Floyd would get criticized and that is exactly how he would fight. Personally I like to see him fight because even though he doesn't throw a lot or take risks, he is a technician in their and I find his speed, timing, footwork, smarts, defense, and reflexes brilliant and I am amazed at how much better he is than his opponent.

He might stink out the joint again like the Baldomir fight but he would get credit for finally taking a dangerous fight. Chances are it would be up to Tony to make Floyd fight and make it entertaining for the fans. Mayweather will be doing his hit and run routine all night unless Margarito can slow him down or catch him with something significant.

That's kind of absurd to make him fight that way against Margarito... He is ****ing huge.

                    A win is a win.

It is irritating, but I can't fault a boxer for winning under the criteria of scoring given to them.
