margo is not the best at 147 so no floyd would not get credit. floyd already beat the 147 champ in baldomir and the one before that in judah, and he didn't get any credity for beating them.

floyd won't get credit for just beating margo the haters would want him to beat:

    paul williams
    miguel cotto
    joshua clottey

and if he gets thru all of them he would have to fight berto too just for good measure

and if he beats berto then he would need to fight rivcky hatton at 140 to provr he could beat ricky at 140

the bull **** would never end.

floyd will crush pac make another 30mill and ride off into the sunset as the greates p4p fighter ever

If Floyd boxed off his back foot while Tony was applying all that pressure, and completely outclassed him, yes I would be impressed. He's a boxer, how could he be criticized for out-boxing Margarito, that's pretty much the only way you beat him.
I more or less agree with this. I don't see anyone beating Tony unless they plan to box as oppose to fight.

I think Floyd would UD him...

BUT is it POSSIBLE, that Marg is simply too BIG for him? Because that is the only way I see Marg winning, if is size and physical strength is too much for Floyd.,..

Beat him convincingly and not be awarded a gift from a corrupt, paid-off panel like in the first Castillo fight?

Yeah, maybe I'd be impressed. I'd rather see him fight Williams though.

I wouldn't criticize him because that's was he does best and it's his only chance of beating someone with as thick of a skull as Margarito.

Of course that's exactly the same way Cotto tried to beat Margarito, and nobody criticized Cotto for it. The only difference is that Cotto wasn't good enough to execute. Floyd will do it easily. UD by shutout. Margarito might win one or two rounds if Floyd is feeling nice that day.

It would be boring but he'd get respect for mannin the **** up. If he beats the top WW any hate he gets is no longer justified.

It is irritating, but I can't fault a boxer for winning under the criteria of scoring given to them.
A win is a win, no doubt about that, and any win over Antonio Margarito is an impressive one, but if Mayweather has no intentions of giving good fights he might as well just stay retired and smell his money all day. Diego Corrales was huge and Mayweather did not run away. Floyd beat him up close and knocked him out!

Floyd actually moved a ton in that fight...

For being the most one-sided fight I've ever seen... I remember thinking that Corrales really didn't take a ton of damage, nor was that fight particularly violent or brutal for Corrales.

He did actually fight a semi-aggressive fight against Hatton, so...

Margarito is just way to ****ing big.

Its true most likely, but against bigger men in Corrales, de la Hoya and Corley he moved and then was unafraid to mix it up on the inside against them. Very smart fights, but all three exciting. I'd love to see him fight Margarito like that. He does not have to go into a phone-booth with him, but I just fear it'd be like the Baldomir fight. Partially because I am a Baldomir/Margarito fan :P.
