Roach: We'll Fight Mayweather at Catchweight!!

Roach is a great trainer and does what is needed to give the advantages to his fighter....BUT **** YOU, YOU LITTLE ***** MOTHA ****ER.
I'm sick and tired of this bull****.
Fight the Fighter in the ring, not on the scales.
He pulled it with Oscar...and didn't he pull this same **** with Eric Morales in their last fight, when Morales wanted to move up in weight and make the fight because he was killing himself already?
I have all the respect for Manny and I hope Manny doesn't want to steal another victory.
At least Floyd didn't try to steal a victory over Oscar. where ws the fight? at 154.
Floyd is already in his 30's; has been inactive for one year and by the time the fight may happen, it could be close to two. **** that. 147 or NO FIGHT. That's what I want to hear from Floyd.
I cannot believe I'm starting to favor Floyd over Manny now...but Roach is pissing me off.
If he can fight at 147 against Oscar; he can fight Floyd at 147...especially since Floyd weighs about 147-149 by fight time. No sense and making either fighter drain weight for some bull**** weigh-in.
Tell me this article is bull**** because I don't want to lose more respect for Roach and Pac.
Although listen; I'm fine with a catch-weight of 146.9

So no need to go through the charades of making either fighter "make weight" for the weigh-in. Pac shows up at 147; Floyd around 149. Just make the fight and forget the weigh-in. Just have it in the contract that neither fighter can weigh over 149 by fight-time.Comment

I don't think it will be that easy for Floyd. I've stated my reasons in other posts and maybe I'll write out a longer reason why both fighters could win or lose.Comment

Yeah; I actually agree with this. Without trying to "make weight" by dieting and training, their natural weights are: Manny, somewhere in the 130's for a mature version of Manny; not the boy version. And for Floyd, 140. Floyd said he could have stayed a lightweight for a bit longer and milked it, but he wanted Oscar bad, for good Rea$on.
Freddie says Manny can't make 135 anymore...and Floyd, I think according to Roger, said Floyd couldn't make either 135 or possibly 140 anymore. That's what happens when you lift weights and eat to grow. Both fighters are low in body fat so losing weight would be muscle weight. I think it is one reason why Floyd may have retired: he wasn't going to be able to drain himself to 140 without taken something away...so it was 147 and feel healthy at the weigh-in and fight night. At 147, at that time, had Williams...and still has Margarito. I'm not sure how confident Floyd is today. I think he would fight them both if the money was as big as the Oscar money, but no way for little money. So mixed with everything; declining health with his hands and I think back, age, kids, stress of the sport, and possibly the fighters at 147....he retired.Comment

It does seem strange to me that he wont fight floyd at 147pnd!!!
Im not saying manny is trying to drain floyd or anything like that, I just think its weird!!! I think floyd would make 140 no sweat!!!
I still think floyds defence is much better then gayla hoyas!!!Comment
