Wow. This guys sincerely believes Floyd's and Joe C's ring accomplishments are greater than Manny's. They'll post anything on this website.

The reason why Armstrong could hold three titles at the same time is that during that time there was no such thing as a mandatory title defense, not like now when the champion has to defend his belt within six months or get stripped.

writer of the article = HATER lolz ^_^, all the haters are starting to post, hahahaha, can you imagine the "ENVY" of these people to a guy that is so humble even in victory, i think these people are devil worshippers? dont you think?, they dont like nice guys who just only wants to make THE BOXING PUBLIC HAPPY, yeah, it includes you ****ing *******s who are trying to discredit him, unlike your PBF who happens to like only 1 thing (money) and doesnt care about you guys, our current pound for pound champ is concerned with the BOXING PUBLIC's happiness. you all should be ashamed of yourself and look in the mirror and ask yourselves, what have i done to Boxing that gave me the right to discredit and talk bad thing about a humble fighter like the PACMAN. all you ****ing haters ask yourself that before ever throwing your thoughts like your GOD awho knows all and can criticize someone for being humble and a niceguy. all you ****ing haters should just STFU ^_^

Yes, I saw Saturday night’s fight. Yes, I’m crystal clear on the result.

Yes, Manny Pacquiao whipped Oscar De La Hoya like he’d never been whipped.

In a way I didn’t think he could be whipped.

Simply put, I was wrong. And the myriad people who’ve dropped e-mails in the interim since the final bell… kudos and congratulations to you all. You were right.

Of course, I didn’t see any of your predictions beforehand, but I’ll take for granted that each and every one of you “knew” it was going to go down exactly as it did – in spite of heavy betting odds and general pre-fight consensus to the contrary.

That’s just the kind of guy I am.
And there… now that we’ve firmly established those points, here’s another:

              I’m still not convinced.

So while cable TV analysts and clever e-mailers have been breathlessly invoking the multi-division ghosts of Armstrong and Robinson, I’m a little less willing to cede Mr. Pacquiao his place alongside those immortals quite yet.

To me anyway, there’s a little more work to be done.

Though the one-sided nature of his victory was beyond any argument, a few hard facts nonetheless remain about exactly what the Filipino sensation accomplished in Las Vegas.
He beat a 35-year-old former welterweight… not a reigning champion.

He beat a man who’d been .500 in his last six fights… not a streaking contender.

He still holds zero legitimate titles in any weight class… not three, as Armstrong did.

And while none of this diminishes the virtuosity he displayed Saturday – and none of it changes the fact that I thought Oscar would win decisively – it ought to inject at least a smidgen of reality into the “Pacquiao is God” chatter that’s been growing louder by the second. [details]
Zero legitimate titles? How about the P4P title, isnt that good enough? Man I tell you, haters will always be haters no matter what happens.

WTF is he talking about ???

he say he is a fan from flyweight days but dont see him p4p???

loose ends at 147, Margarito et al ??? lol

Loose end at 135 Nate?? ha ha another old guy to be retired ... I believe in PAC's absence JMM can unify all belts at 135

what PAC did in 2008?? as IF fighting JMM arguably P4P No. 2 does not worth anything, AND LETS NOT MENTIONED THE TWO TUNE UPS HE FOUGHT AT HIGHER WEIGHT AT 135 & 147 ... it just seemed that way cuz PAC made it that way... LOL

And Pacman or any other boxer you dislike are millionaires...
I can pay you a good salary, just always stand beside me and everytime I get mad...
I'll slap your face in 3 different directions and pay you ten bucks for each slap...

damn, what a hater!!! this guy must of lost a considerable amount on dlh, what a fool, how pac man was an underdog is crazy to me, size considered. how can you hate on a fighter who does what everyone has been beging for, to just fight anybody, good, bad, big mouth, big, small, just fight whoever wants it, and thats what pac has done this year. who cares if diaz was a punching bag, he had a belt and wanted to fight pac, and pac disposed of him correctly, dlh wanted some, he got it the worst lol, and jmm wanted a rematch for years, he got his wish and was beaten. what else can pac do in one year, hes beaten 3 top 10s in their divison in 3 different weight classes, sounds like a year for the times you ask me. and loose ends? fighting margs, pac might be crazy but he isnt ******, now a fight with nate i can see, but there is more money out there to be made with him fighting hatton, after hatton would be floyd, its not that hes leaving loose ends, its that he has bigger fish to fry, im sure if nate was a big money fight and one of the best p4p fighters in the world manny would go for him, until that happens manny will be testing himself against the best around his weight, whoever it is, except margs and p will, those fights would just be ******
