NFL has no following here. We have classy sports like Cricket. Nothing like a day at Lord's in the height of 'summer'.Comment

yea i know what you mean i should have rephrased what i said... throw someone with the natural ability of a reggie bush, or barry sanders and can confidently say if they played rugby as long as they played football they would be one of the bestno way, dude. i'm a big reggie/saints fan, too. but no. totally different kind of stamina needed for rugby.
i'm a big fan of both. i got into the 6 nations tournament when i was studying in italy. they're really pretty different sports that require different kinds of skills.Comment

LOL....
On a serious note: Playing at 12 is a lot different than playing as you get older. Everybody is Babe Ruth at 12...but as they go up, it's different.
A friend of mine played in the minors and said that one of the most difficult things to get used to is seeing a ball that is pitched at 95MPH for one pitch, and then the second one is thrown with a Curve at 82MPH. Not knowing what is coming is a pain of the ass. The change of speeds along with how the ball travels with rotation in that split second is very difficult; thus the reason why players are paid millions if they are successful 30% of the time.
That's just hitting. Fielding a ball that is hit at 95MPH back to you is another thing.Comment

Marco you realise that the NZAB would be dwarfed by the average NFL team right?
RU players would have higher stamina but explosive power and speed would be all in favour of the NFL team.Comment
