I don't recall Cricket ever getting 80,000 crowds in england or wales whereas the international rugby always sells out in both. Hell, your top domestic games get bigger crowds than most tests. It's not even close. Even domestic cup finals and European cup finals sell out or get 60k minimum.

And due to its hardiness, it has to be played fair.

Not like soccer, when cheating has become a major factor in being successful.
The moral in soccer is, nowadays, absolutely de****able.
There's cheating in every sport. Quite often the best players are those who cheat the best.

I can watch a game of gridiron, but it's just far too stop-start for us Brits. We prefer more action and a bit more subtlety.

Just like the New England Patriots .......

Along with golf, NFL is the only sport I can't be bothered to watch.

NFL supporters probably shouldn't talk about cheats when 6 players just got banned for taking drugs that mask Steriods...

The septics just can't get the balance right can they. You get the pointless constant scoring of basketball with the painful stop-start of gridiron. And as for rounders ....

F1 is the ultimate motor sport, going round an oval in some striped out car is no where near as skilled as driving an F1 car. F1 is the most watched motorsport in the world and the 2008 season was excellent loads of overtaking and the last race of the season was amazing with the title being decided at the last corner of the last lap.
