Isnt baseball just a poor man's Rounders?

I used to love rounders at school on Games Day but watching it as a professional sport? Hmmm

I think if it wasn't for me growing up playing baseball I wouldn't have been able to catch on later; I find it boring as well. The Movies are cool.

Baseball Playoffs are somewhat fun, but other than that; I have to play it not watch it. It's similar to Soccer in a way: I enjoy playing it, but not so much watching it most of the time. It depends which player is playing and if it's the World Cup. I need the stakes to be high and to watch great talent or I cannot watch.

Hockey: You saw a game in person? NHL games are said by many to be the greatest sport to watch in person. You cannot just watch it on TV; you have to go to a live game.

Hockey players are also out of their minds. Players can have a leg torn off and they will skate to the side, put a band-aid on it and come back out to play. I'm all for the fighting as well.

Actually it was by betting late at night and watched them animated live gameday on MLB.com and learnt all the rules and play etc and understand phrases, lingo and jargon etc.

NFL just cant get into learning at the moment and i dont like it as Rugby is much better.........hehe.

LOL; that's what makes a lot of sports popular; at least in America- BETTING.

I would still suggest watching some of the great movies. You still probably won't like to watch the actual game but the movies will help clue you in on why Americans connect with it.

I grew up playing World-Football until about 12, but wasn't a fan of watching the games until I saw Ronaldo {Brazil} play in the World Cup. But after you see him play, you want everybody to be on that level...you know?

Yes Norfolk Admirals where in the playoffs, they won both games I watched, the speed and impact level of the game was very impressive, plus it was indoors so I was actually warm.

Ive been to live games in the states 2 years ago, very cheap. Films are **** very corny. I can watch baseaball without betting on it now just like most sports in UK. I have connected.

Plus the channel 5 boys who do baseball are legends.

To add i dont know as i follow a much ****tier football team well not as high as some teams lets say. Plus football is totally a different climate to american sports. Very tribal.
