    I gotta feel sorry for you if you think a Mayweather win is a foregone conclusion.

      yeah, paul will get countered by some accurate and nasty counters, but it won't be enough to deter williams.

        Williams has virtually no defense
        his opponents miss for the most part because of paul's height, not because of paul's defense
        if quintana can tag williams over and over, floyd can take him to school...
        i'm surprised @ people picking williams..
        let me ask you this;
        would williams beat Oscar @ 154?!

            Doesn't matter...PBF would NEVER fight him. C'mon mang dude didn't wanna fight Cotto or Margo because he said they had no fan base, what you think he would say about P-Will then?

              Right, Floyd would never fight Paul Williams, it would be a huge mistake. Floyd makes few mistakes inside the ring and outside, that's about it.

                  The subject came up because I think Floyd will return and I was thinking of somebody who stood a good chance to beat him. PW is my choice. -Peace.
                  the more phiysical disadvantages that floyd has vs any fighter, the more even the fight is, because skillwise, and as as far mentality on the ring goes, no fighter at 147 is on his level, period. floyd has bad hands, is smaller than most ww, but is smarter in the ring overall, has the best defense, is the most accurate, moves the best, has the best upperbody movement, one of the fastest in handspeed, next to judah and berto, and is the fastest ww overall. i don't see floyd losing to paul williams, because floyd would tear his body apart. paul williams is a very good fighter, but leaves his linky body exposed too much, and floyd is one of the greatest ever at positioning his body to land clean punches, and would land against paul to the body a lot, trust me.

                    This is like the 10th thread concerning these two. I am pretty sure Floyd beats him, he gets hit too much, but Williams could make it interesting.

                      Floyd wins due to timing PW's combinations. I can see Floyd ducking real low, moving alot breaking Paul's rhythm. Floyd knows too well to go in and out against Paul's lanky frame.
