I always thought Paul Williams would be a nightmare of a fight for Floyd Mayweather. Williams has a big edge in height , reach and would definitely have the workrate advantage. Paul would go to the body and head with power and workrate @ 147 and I really cannot see a way Floyd would be able to deal with him.

This is my opinion and I am creating this poll to get everyones thoughts on the subject, if the fight were to happen.

I got Williams by a comfortable UD.

(as long as he doesn't fight like he did in Quintana I)

Quintana took P Will to school and Floyd is a million times the fighter that Quintana will ever be.

Floyd is an ATG, P Will Cotto and Margs are great NOW fighters.

Based on the rematch and fights since, I think Williams-Quintana I was a fluke. Floyd is great, buy I just cannot picture him beating PW.

Too many disadvantages in my opinion.

The subject came up because I think Floyd will return and I was thinking of somebody who stood a good chance to beat him. PW is my choice. -Peace.

why do people think that this fight will look like corrales/floyd? corrales is a COMPLETELY different fighter than diego. other than his height and reach you cant really comapare diego and paul. paul is a southpaw with a sturdy chin and a high workrate, where diego was an orthodox puncher with questionable defense. if paul fights a smart fight, he can win a unanimous decision.
