Aww man, no chance? You gotta know he was nothing like himself in fight #1 with CQ. I agree that Floyd is way better than Quintana, but styles make fight and Paul will give Floyd some bad medicine. He is southpaw , has workrate, reach and can take any punch Floyd can throw. This would not be an easy fight for either man.

Decent poll turnout, but honestly I was expecting more votes for Williams. Pretty Boy is special, but Paul presents problems for anybody from 147-160, in my opinion.

He's got 14 (as I type) more than he ought to IMO. You need to do more than pose 'problems' to beat the p4p no.1. .. you get to be that because you can adapt and solve problems.

Williams is a best a good prospect, at worse a hype job. Easy win for Floyd based on the evidence actually out there.

The subject came up because I think Floyd will return and I was thinking of somebody who stood a good chance to beat him. PW is my choice. -Peace.
Exactly.....Floyd is by far the MOST talented or skilled boxer of his era but the physical advantages PW posess over Floyd are too much to make up on skill alone.....and peeps need to stop thinkin' the first Quintana fight proved anything...if anything it proved PW wasn't up for that fight....there's no way he'll come into the ring in that state of mind he was in during the Quintana I fight....look man, Paul rocked a mohawk in the ring that night ...something wasn't right and he proved that in the rematch!

Williams advantages in height and reach mean nothing against Mayweather.

Mayweather knows how to handle any style.

Height and reach mean nothing when you don't use it to your advantage and watching williams fight he has never used those advantages.

He does have a high workrate but what is the best weapons against a high workrate ??? accurate Counters which mayweather does very well and lateral movement which Mayweather also does very well, include that Mayweather has the best defense in the sport where williams appears to be hittable.

Mayweather clear UD 100 times out of 100.

With all due respect, anybody who beats the best @ 147 , one of the best @ 154 and a legit 160 lb fighter in under 1-1/2 years time is nowhere near a hype job. Prospects don't hold world titles bro. Adapting to styles is a big part of the game, but it is not everything. Williams has as good of a shot beating Floyd as anybody else near the weight. Simple as that. I personally don't think Floyd would beat Paul on a good night no matter how skilled he is. He is just not active enough to fight the PW that beat Margarito. Sorry, but that's the truth. See the first Castillo fight for the gameplan to beat Mayweather. PW would do that and then some. -peace

Wrong style for Mayweather. Mayweather is 5'7" vs Paul who is 6'1"

                  It'll never happen.

FYI: Floyd Mayweather Jr is retired.

Mayweather vs. Williams is about as relevant as Frazier vs. Marciano
