Who defends Marg's decision to fight Mosley instead of Williams?

yeah, but marg should make more effort in making the rematch since he should want to avenge his loss... marg & his team act like the first fight never happened... arum even told goosen never to talk to him about pwill and marg again, that means the only way that fight comes off is if marg demands it... unfortunately he don't want nothing to do w/ paul either from the looks of things. In actually marg might want the rematch as bad as paul, but it just doesn't seem that way.Comment

I love how all the Margarito fans are using the same arguements in defense of Margarito not fighting Paul Williams that PBF fans were using in defense of PBF not fighting Margarito.
THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO HHHUUUUUMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Comment

I said the same thing, but one poster had a good point. At least Marg had the balls to fight Williams. Floyd avoided Marg all together.Comment

Im just curious to know how fighting Mosley for $2mil makes more sense from both a monetary standpoint and a legacy standpoint, rather than rematching Williams for $4mil and a chance to redeem himself.
I've seen a few diehard Margarito fans try and defend this decision, and i just dont see how you can. I like both Marg and Williams, and would love to see a rematch to show who's the true 147lb champ.
I dont even think Arum would pay Margarito that much money ($4mil) to rematch Cotto.I agree, I'd much rather see him rematch Williams.

But now that Margarito is in the same position that Floyd is, he is doing the same. When he fought Williams the first time, he wasn't in this position where he can turn down fights. Same ****, different fighters.Comment

And I love how all the Floyd fans are flipping this out to make it seem that Margarito is a ducker.Comment

This **** is ****** fights happen and don't happen for many reasons. I am willing to bet 99% of fights that don't happen its not because of a fighter being scared of the other and ducking.Comment
