A Paul Williams win would do alot more for Margarito then a SSM win

    That is all.
Interim belt is what you call getting a belt??

You're right though, it would cause he got his rematch. Don't forget though PW is nowhere near the name SSM is & also a bigger draw than Williams.....and I'm willing to bet you he gets more $$$$$ fighting Cotto again than fighting PW for rematch.
I do want to see it PW vs Marg2, hopefully it can be done after these 2 fights (late 09) or early 2010.

Its funny to read the William fans saying "theres no number 1 unless Williams is involved", then peole throwin Cotto, Margarito being the main one.

But if you bitchs want to really find out who the number 1 WW is then throw in Bertos name or shut the **** up! Nut huggers.

And Margarito already has a name in his resume. FRANKIE RANDELL.

Of course some of you may not even know who he is which is why his name isn't included when people talk resume.

Maybe Margarito believes if he gets by Mosely and Cotto, and Williams keeps winning it will set up a super-fight with a 8 figure payday

Fighting Mosley will be a bigger draw than Williams.Mosley is a known name.Williams has yet to make a name for himself the occasional boxing fan.BTW that 4$ million deal with Williams is pure BS!!!

williams didnt even win the first fight so i dont know why so many people are crying for a rematch. margarito has proven time and time again that he is the best welterweight fighter. thats why everyone is chasing margarito because williams and the rest of the welterweights are looking up trying to reach the man at the top of the mountain!!

yeah, thats how i feel......... where did this 4 million come up, i remember kellermen saying that there was more money to fight williams but that was not made known, if at all true. i think it's a way to try and pit margarito into whatever match up hbo wants to see.

i don't think that there is anything wrong with margarito fighting mosley, it's a tough fight, and it's something to build on too. it's fair to both fighters and would be entertaining to say the least.

it's not like williams and margarito aren't going to fight, it's only a matter of time, they are destine to have a rematch or two, who knows.....??

I've seen a few diehard Margarito fans try and defend this decision, and i just dont see how you can. I like both Marg and Williams, and would love to see a rematch to show who's the true 147lb champ.

I dont even think Arum would pay Margarito that much money ($4mil) to rematch Cotto.
i don't care who margarito fights as long as he fights

I think we all agree on that. Theres just too many dumbasses who are quick to say "Margarito don't want to see Paul", when in fact, he already tangled with him. They'll then go on to say how Margarito refused a rematch without acknowledging that it was Paul who initially refused a rematch and lost to Quintana instead.

Uh, no, not against a 37 year old Mosley who in the last year, lost to Cotto.

Paul Williams is does much more for Tony at this point.

Mosley is just the bigger name at this point, but most definitely not a bigger win.
