Exactly, for all the crying about more money, which I think he should of negotiated for more than 2mill, WHY oh WHY, turn down 4mill?

Team margarito have already talked about williams. It's not about the money, plus that 4mill is the offer to bob arum for a margarito fight it's not what margarito would make plus that offer was NEVER an official offers sent to toprank it's just another publicity stunt by goosen to lure margarito into a fight. margarito wanted an immediate rematch with williams after their first fight. They even went as far as to petition and get the wbo to have margarito placed as paul williams mandatory which would set up the rematch. The wbo told paul margarito is the mando and an immediate re-match is there, but they decided they wanted to leave margarito hanging after a close victory and fight quintana instead. That right there is why Team margarito has said screw williams he ran from the immediate re-match and now that margarito is on top now they want to desperately fight him. He can wait and he screwed his ownself over.

Just because you beat someone who made more money than you, doesn't mean that you make their money. Ask Winky, Bernard, Lennox Lewis, Bowe, Shane, Tito, etc.. The offer is low because HBO will not put it on PPV. But GBP does have a way of overstating their fighters value. But they get away with it due to their relationship with HBO. Out of the 4 mill, Margs should have been offered 2.5. About 60/40. But he ****ed himself by turning down 4 mill.

Man...Margarito has lost alot of respect if not all from me. I always thought that he WAS the most feared WELTERWEIGHT...but now...he thinks that just because he KO'd Cotto that he deserves big name fights? Sorry Margarito....this is who he needs to fight (my opinion and in this order) to regain some respect and seek the big money fights that he wants so bad....
1st fight - Shoud've taken the Mosley fight: Low risk, decent reward ($2 million...c'mon) and nice name to add to his resume. I personally think Mosely could;ve made it interesting.
2nd Fight - Re-match with Joshua Clottey: Everyone knows Clottey was fighting hurt the 1st time around, now he's a little more seasoned and could possibly beat Margarito (via UD)
3rd Fight - Re-match with Cotto (around end of year) as his "Big Money Fight"....

Whatever, Margs would be making a gtd amount which would be his career high gtd amount. Make the fight. Stop acting as if he went in there and negotiated for himself and really tried to make the fight, but they were truly low balling him, which they weren't. Also says Margo was getting Rev from the Cotto fight..

Now if Cotto beat Shane and Marg STOPPED cotto, why should Margo exceot an offer of 1.2 million less? also w/out the fight being on PPV?

Margs is doing the same thing he moaned for years about being on the recieving end of, he says he was ducked a dodged by Mayweather which Mayweather said was due to money issues now he doing the same to other fighters and he's not as big a name as Mayweather

He was offered $4 against Williams $2 against Mosely who else is there Clottey and Berto now Berto isn't going to fight him so it all hangs on Clottey if he faces a bum then he's a hypocrit.

Why are so many idiots shocked about Rito turning down Mosley? He wouldn't have received any credit for battering a 40 yr old way past his prime Mosley. And 2 million is an insult at this point in his career.
