    Wow, are you serious?

Kessler is probably one of my favourite active fighters, but do you really think the likes of Corrales, Castillo, Oscar, Hatton, don't warrant being rated above him? At least right now?

    • Floyd is still fighting/improving his resume and will probably fight Mosley, Pac, and Cotto in the future. Add this to the fact that his resume is already leagues above Calzaghe.

Calzaghe was a good fighter and will get into the hall of fame, but do not compare him to Floyd. The man hid out in Wales and didn't grow any balls until the greats were old. Kessler is still unproven. If he wins the super six Calzaghe might get a little more credit.

      Floyd>Calzaghe

Exactly what I expected you to say. What weight classes were these fights?

In any event, I cite Kessler and Hopkins. Point proven.

That's a big assumption you're making there. I don't see the Marquez fight as a "tune up". I see it as a waive goodbye.

              • Who cares about this thread? Patrick Swayze just died of pancreatic cancer, that's a damn shame.

So now your citing past prime fighters as some of his best wins?

You decided to ignore Hernandez and Chavez. Please tell us why.

You must have some underlying reason why you don't think Mayweather is better than Joe, I mean there is not one person who doesn't have a personal bias against Mayweather who would rate Joe higher than him. Mayweather is better and 95% of people who know boxing agree.

I'm serious that Calzaghe's in the discussion........and by today's standards, he deserves it. IF Floyd is in the discussion, then Calzaghe must be there to. It's called intellectual honesty.
