Post Calzaghe, Lacy ain't ****, he was overrated. Funny that?

Dawson is being hyped up by boxing premadonnas who aren't boxing fans but people who are simply Calzaghe haters, desperately plucking names out of thin air hoping that someone out there beats Calzaghe.

Guess what? Dawson ain't beating Calzaghe either, no one from 160 to 175 can so get used to it!
Bro, there are no similarities between Lacy and Dawson, except they're both Americans and that's it!!

And you're right, Dawson ain't beating the B*tch Slapper, 'cause the b*tch slapper knows that Dawson is gonna hand his @ss on a big platter that Dawson eats his Big Macs on.

the hell is this jibberish. no one says dawson is the best they say he is the best person to fight calzaghe. dawson has established himself as the best lightheavy(besides hopkins) calzaghe has only one controversial win at lightheavy and the roy jones debacle. as for dawson ducking kessler oh my kessler just turned down a dawson fight. weird i guess dawson is avoiding him so much that hes not even worth kesslers time better to stay in denmark vs haussler.

Calzaghe's biggest wins were against former 154-160lbers .

Dawson's biggest wins were against 175lbers.

Calzaghe's recent performances maybe a bit deceiving considering his last two opposition. Jones Jr and B-Hop are nothing but names these days.

Calzaghe's accomplishments are kinda similar to Rocky Marciano's, he had Archie Moore and JJ Walcott on his resume as well, both of 'em were 39 years old. We all know Archie Moore in his heyday was light years ahead of Marciano
Thank you, there is really not that much to say. Now lets add to the equation that Calzaghe would be fighting his first natural light heavyweight and his first real southpaw, on top of Dawson being his best young test.

Calzaghe would clown Dawson and everybody picking Dawson would be here right after the fight saying that Joe only beat a green, overrated fighter that already lost to a 40 year old Johnson and beat 40 year old washed up Tarver. Then they would say Joe is ducking a rematch with Hopkins or a fight with Johnson and if Joe took either he's back into "he only beats a 40 year old washed up fighters" even though they only manage to be washed up against Calzaghe and most NSB posters picked them to beat Joe.

I like how people say that Dawson is just fighting old people, well the fact of the matter is that as you say ''old people'' is the biggest names at light heavyweight and they are still top 3 in the division. Tarver was still a good fighter, and he had two titles, and was also ranked at number 2 and Johnson was at 3.

Now take a look at Calzaghe's resume when he only had 27 fights, and you tell me who had the better record. Dawson wants to fight the biggest names, get them out of the way and then go after his mandatorys. I love how you get bashed for going after the best light heavyweights. The people that are doing it is pumping up Calzaghe's win over Jones like it is more than what it was. Calzaghe is still one of my favorite fighters,, but i just hate when people spew out stuff that they know nothing about. Hes not beating Dawson and only time will tell, and that's IF the fight happens which is highly doubtful.

                    Bingo.

They have both fought two old veterans. Difference is that the veterans that Calzaghe fought were better (Hopkins destroyed Tarver prior to the Calzaghe fight and would've wiped the floor with Johnson and Jones too). Calzaghe also fought better up and coming youngsters in Kessler and Lacy than Dawson did in Adamek.

I also like how the thread is called 'Final answer' when the poll indicates quite to the contrary.

Dawson is good, but it means nothing to Calzaghe's legacy cos if he gets the win, it'll be immediately discredited. Calzaghe has been here before.
