Calzalge work rate a little to much !!!!

I believe Calzalge work rate is what sets him apart from any fighter as of right now. His ability to be active throughout each round with energy is his game plan and it is going to take a smart fighter with good, hard, accurate punching to the body and a snapping jab to slow him down. Dawson could be that fighter, but he tires and gets lazy. Calzalge by UD!!!

Valid point. I don't mind having discussions with WLAD OWNS and Tunney though, even though I don't like them. They don't like me either so its all cool. Underneath all the layers of racist hatred I think they kind of know what they are talking about some of the time.

I gave Dawson props, his UD over Adamek was his best performance IMO.

But Adamek was weight drained, that's a fact.

He moved up to cruiserweight because he was killing himself to make 175.

What makes you think roy hasn't gotten better since the johnson loss? Definitely not prime-roy, but to say he just gets worse and doesn't improve his defense is kind of ignorant if you ask me.

He has aged another 4 years and lost that by knockout and with the loss to Tarver after that, I would say he has not improved since then. Sadly his reflexes and timing are not what they used to be.

How did he fight a war with Paul Briggs only a few months earlier? When he fights Dawson, hes all of a sudden weight drained? Adamek moved up because he felt more comfortable yes, but he also moved up because cruiser weight gives him more title opportunities. He knew that Dawson would also be a bad style match up for him. I don't think his weight had anything to do with his performance. With his flat feet and lack of mobility or effective jab, Dawson will always be too much. Hes much better at cruiser weight though and he is developing skills now. Hes starting to show movement and a jab now. Hes not the brawler that he used to be.

Agree to disagree Slick. I thought Tarver was a good performance but I never gave Antonio a chance of beating Chad so I was less impressed. I think Dawson showed incredible skills against Adamek which is why it is my favourite.
