I like how you say he beats calzaghe, and never gives an explanation on how and why. Calzaghe wins because he fights in more angles, better stamina, better chin*my opinion*, better work-rate, hell the speed might even be faster then dawson if not the same or a tad slower but his workrate makes up for it. He is better then dawson like at everything.

There are far too many threads like this. Wanna talk about something else instead? How's the weather in your neck of the woods mate?

It amazes me that Dawson beats two old boxers in Johnson and Tarver and suddenly America says he's the best. When Joe does the same thing they say he only won because he was fighting past it boxers. Dawson is not worthy of a shot at Joe yet. He needs to fight Kessler or Diaconu who he has been avoiding. I think both would have a decent chance of beating him

Chad Dawson is a natural LHW with a big punch and throws in combinations. Calzaghe has looked good against who? A 43 year old and a part-time fighter that's 39 years old. Calzaghe's recent performances maybe a bit deceiving considering his last two opposition. Jones Jr and B-Hop are nothing but names these days.

Calzaghe's accomplishments are kinda similar to Rocky Marciano's, he had Archie Moore and JJ Walcott on his resume as well, both of 'em were 39 years old. We all know Archie Moore in his heyday was light years ahead of Marciano

Damn, unlucky bro. It was pretty nice today, summer is just about here so the ladies are wearing less and less.

LOL 2 ex-ring LHW champions. He is worthy because he is the #1 LHW and has more wins @ LH then Hopkins and Calzaghe combined. Kessler rejected the fight because its too risky and Diaconu after his next fight he must fight Johnson. Its funny how you pretend Dawson/Kesser or Dawson/Diaconu are better fights for boxing.

Dawson showed me he can handle pressure from the Johnson fight, he also showed he can deal with a fellow southpaw in Tarver, two natural LHW.

Calzaghe on the other hand has been munchin' on a former 154lber and a former 160lber. Tell Calzaghe to step up to a real 175lber that can match his speed and got more pop than the current Jones and B-Hop put together.

I didn't say anything about Dawson dominating Calzaghe, all I'm sayin' is, Calzaghe's recent performances have been deceiving due to the current state that his last two opponents are in. Don't get me wrong, Calzaghe would've been competitive even back in the 90's
