Good point. Name me a heavyweight gold medal olympian that only fought four 4 round fights then steps up to the Holyfield that beat Tyson?Comment

I don't know what fight you were watching but lesnar was doing the man handling. couture just caused some minor problems because of his technical skill advantage.Comment

For all you fools that sees any legitmacy in Lesnar due to his All-American college wrestling days are a bunch of fools! Sure, Lesnar has that NCAA pedigree, but how long ago was that? And now he's a HW champ!
That's like Vitali Klitschko having only fought 4 pro fights and beats the version of Holyfield that beat TysonComment

who whipped his ass? You mean Mir? Mir was getting destroyed, before he got put into a submission. It was only his second fight, but he was already against a top heavyweight that is very experienced on the ground and submission. He would destroy Mir now. Hes much more patient and his ground game has improved. Who cares if deserved a title shot or not. he beat the man and proved he belongs as one of the top contenders in the UFC.
Like it or not, Brock would take down any heavyweight fighter in boxing right now no matter how good they are in boxing. Once there on the ground they have zero to no chance against Brock. His size and athletic ability is amazing. You know hes got a solid chin especially the size of his neck and head and shoulders have no damn room to turn his head.
It works both ways, Brock would get lose in a boxing match to a top heavy weight boxer, but doesn't mean you have to put the MMA world down just because you don't agree with the rules of it.
I'm glad most fights end in a knockout or submission that way you don't get a lot of corrupt judging that happens in boxing most of the time.
Besides theres always room for another fighting sport. These are 2 different ways of fighting and both are exciting in my opinion. Its just that theres ****** fans of each sport always talking **** about the other when they both utilize different aspects of fighting.
Also Dana White is a DOUCHBAG.Comment

Okay, lets just look at it this way. What if Brock was a two-time Olympic boxing gold medalist rather than an All-American collegiate wrestler, and decided not to be a pro boxer and ended up on WWE and years later decides to try out pro boxing
do any of you honestly think he could step right up to the heavyweight boxing champion of the world with only 4 professional boxing fights?Comment

man , stfu already. in mma it's common. quit comparing how boxing is set up to mma. they're set up and promoted and managed differently. For all you fools that sees any legitmacy in Lesnar due to his All-American college wrestling days are a bunch of fools! look at yoshida. look at fujita. how many fights did they have before getting star status in pride?
whether or not brock deserved the shot he won so who cares.
he's the ufc champion. if he's not worthy he'd lose it soon enough.Comment

listen dude, Lesnar is a special case. there isn't anyone that will ever do what he did. its his incredible physical advantage that has made him the UFC champ. No other person will ever come along and do it the way he did so to compare him to 'up and coming' boxers or other young UFC talent is not fair to mma.Okay, lets just look at it this way. What if Brock was a two-time Olympic boxing gold medalist rather than an All-American collegiate wrestler, and decided not to be a pro boxer and ended up on WWE and years later decides to try out pro boxing

It doesn't just have to do with his NCAA championship or his UFC experience. its also his overwhelming raw size, strength, speed and athletic abilities. he is just a freak of nature, you can't compare what he did to anything cuz there isn't another person out there in mma or boxing that has done what he did.Comment
