Again, and you really need to stop being ignorant on this subject: Everybody ages different; Science says so...and if you don't want to go by Science, hopefully you are smart enough, aware enough to use your eyes and see for yourself. If you cannot put this simple puzzle together, I don't know; not much hope for you on this topic.
joe is not the same either his hands now are extremly sensitive he even said that his hand was hurting in the 8th round.

roy jones pretty much fights the same the only thing is now he has adopted this winky type shell but before he would not punch that much watch his fight with hopkins.
jones would always play around jump in and out he might throw a flurry from time to time but most of the time he would just jump in and throw the straight right he might throw the left after but thats about it he's never really been an offensive monster just a smart tactical fighter with tremendous speed and reflexes

I thought it was funny and I think even roy liked it because it was something hes always done. but when roy was bloodied, and basically finished, I think Joe should have let him off the hook as far as the taunting. At that point Joe had proven his point, no need to rub it in...
I hear what your saying and even agree with you but in this case Roy just got a taste of his own medicine...Roy fans were not calling for him not to taunt Tito when he beat that azz....I just think it's KARMA!!! it's a ***** I tell ya!!

It's like the Superman movie when Lex Luther was kicking around Superman when he had the Kryptonite in him. Calzaghe was Lex Luther.
the legend that you speak of said himself that he chose not to fight calzaghe early in his career.
you just mad that nobody was able to **** wit joe, now he is retired so you can't hate no more you need to find someone else to hate on

So he was supposed to take it easy on a guy that knocked him down in the first round with a clothes line, in a foreign country? I'll have to watch the fight again, but it seemed to me Roy was trying to do his own share of taunting, till it backfired. Though it's hard to argue with a guy that thinks Roy is in the same shape the almost 39 year old Ali that fought a prime Holmes was, and Calzaghe is actually in his prime.

Yes, I said Joe is past his prime, but not that far from it where he is not a great fighter. There is Prime, just past prime, past prime, and then, SHOT, like Roy Jones Jr.

If you think Roy is anywhere near the same fighter you should Mace yourself in the eyes.

Roy is/was way past it, but it's not like Calzaghe is a spring chicken and comparing Roy to the Ali that fought Holmes is pretty ridiculous. For 10 rounds straight, Roy wasn't competitive. He got his eye split open and almost shut. Calzaghe landed on him at will. I'd say Joe battered him, though prime for prime, the results would be quite different.
Great assesment, although I believe prime for prime Joe would have found a way to outpoint. Just feel Joe ALWAYS finds a way to adapt and dominate.

                  Read my Posts.

I say Joe is not in his prime but he is still somewhat around the Mountain top sliding down.

Ali and Roy are SHOT. You don't get much worse than SHOT except Dead.

If somebody would have taunted Roy and beat him in his Prime, I'm cool with that. Even now, if they did it once to prove a point to Roy, I'm cool with that. It says: Get out of the Game Roy.

And No, you don't take it "easy" on anyone. You go in and knock the opponent out.

no one said roy was in his prime but neither is joe you make it seem like if calzaghe was fighting against marvin hagler or ray leonard.
the point is if me and you both become boxers around the same time everyone thinks of you as such agreat fighter and most people won't give me the credit i deserve if me and you ever fight i am going to embarass you to the fullest extent so that you and everyone that thinks your so great can actually see what great is

Again, a difference between still being good and "live" than being Shot and Dead.

Mocking is disrespect in my eyes when the fighter is a former Great and considered a "Legend" and is SHOT.

What you do is simple, it's what mnay fighters have done: You go in and knock the former "great/legend" out as quick as you can. It's like shooting that deer that has a broken foot. You give him "a clean death, a soldier's death." -Gladiator

But I do agree on part of it: Roy had it coming and kind of deserved it to a point.
