Name one LEGEND in their prime who Calzaghe has beat?

I guess my point is that beating a 39yr old and 43yr old legend proves nothing.. it definitely doesnt qualify you as great. Lennox Lewis is great, Muhammad Ali is great, Sugar Ray Leonard is great, Joe Louis is great Calzaghe is not. He has not fought one single legend in their prime. Name one LEGEND in their prime who Calzaghe has beat? You cant WHY? because he avoided them.

Tarver and Johnson are both older than Jones.

Who are you to say Dawson is the best LHW? Calzaghe beat the #1 guy and is ranked #1 by Ring and by most people. Check out the poll, some 85% approx for Calzaghe over Dawson.

Most think Hopkins would beat Dawson aswell.

LMAO, with Dawsons notorious heavy hands and power? Yeh because he's loads more powerful than Hopkins, Jones, Kessler, Eubank, Mitchell to the point Joe just wouldn't get up. Yer yer.

I can beat Muhammad Ali right now.. does that make me a legend too?

What does that have to do with Dawson's two biggest wins being 40 years old? His only two wins if you don't count another shot fighter in the last fight of his career and a weight drained nobody that had to move up in weight to be competitive.

How do you slam Calzaghe's resume and pump up Dawson's?

Plus you couldn't beat Hopkins, even with a baseball bat.

Name one LEGEND that Lennox Lewis beat IN THEIR PRIME. Go on.

I like Lennox but even though he beat everyone around, even though he could be competitive with anyone from history, he didn't ever fight a prime legendary fighter. Tyson was well past it, as was Holyfield. He did beat the legendary prime Frank Bruno though.

Good for Ricky, because he doesn't want to see his countryman lose and not retire unbeaten. I actually give him props. Hatton probably sees exactly what i see, Dawson being a bad style match up for Joe and winning the fight in either Wales or the U.S.

There is a difference here: Lennox came to the States and went hunting, but the prey didn't come out until later. Not Lewis's fault Bowe ducked him or that Holyfield wasn't the same after Bowe...or Tyson threw his career away.

Lennox was willing to fight them all in their prime; I cannot say the same for Joe.

Maybe Lennox wouldn't have cleared them all out prime vs. prime, but you have to give it to him, he was Willing and did his best in trying to lure them into the ring.

Tbh now im not sure why calzaghe doesnt keep fighting on.
Fight Dawson, Froch, Pavlik, hopkins and kessler again, fight roy jones again, roy wouldnt say no to a huge fight at cardiff! All these would be mega fights.
All these fights joes more than capable of winning, and would definently add to his legacy. Its a similar sitution i thought about when mayweather jr suddenly retired. If he fought cotto, margarito, williams, cintron even a fight when junior witter was considered 2nd best at 140. There all fights that add to a fighters legacy. All the legends fought the best and gave pretty much every worthy challenger a shot and even if they lost it would only add memorable moments in there career.
