Believe me, I think Dawson deserves the shot but he doesn't bring enough money to the table yet. Maybe in another year after a couple more great performanes he'll get the shot. I say maybe after meeting a big name or two at a catchweight will do it, hopefully.

I dont see Dawson as the man to take down Joe and heres why.
Dawson is chinny.
Dawson IS NOT a big puncher.
Joe has great defense and a great chin.
Joe throw zillions of punches.
Even though Joe c. cant knockout your grandmother with Dawson glass jaw it would be a distinct possibility.
Plus Dawson has no heart.

Say what you want about Roy but he could have quit tonight but kept on trying.

1.Dawson isn't chinney, he got hit with hard shots against Glen Johnson but was never knocked down.
2.Dawson is more of a natural LHW than Calzaghe, so he hits just as hard as Joe.
3.Dawson is skilled and throws lots of punches, it would be a chess match.
4.Dawson has a high output too, not as much as Calzaghe though.
5.If Dawson has no heart, he wouldn't of survived against Glen Johnson.

kessler is much more technically sound than dawson is and he got beat up by calzaghe so i will be much easier for calzaghe to find openings in dawsons mediocre boxing skills

Dawson is far more elusive, has better foot work, better defense and is not predictable the way Kessler is, so Joe would have a lot of problems adjusting the way he normally does because he would be dealing with a young fighter that has a mixed weaponary, and is a good adjustable fighter himself.
