Kirilov- you mean the same fighter who had a draw with of all people Cecilio Santos one fight prior, won a close (some say hometown) decision to Jose Navarro despite knocking down Navarro (who Mijares beat pretty soundly), and a loss to Luis Perez who is now on a two fight losing streak? Kirilov is ok but his skills have left him a bit and doesn't have that one punch to make up for his declining skills to hide it

Gorres- really? short of Glenn Donaire (not Nonito mind you) what has he done to warrant being considered solid? He had a draw with Montiel that was said to be controversial a win over Eric Ortiz who IMO was ruined by Viloria and well thats about it

Pacheco- ah yes probably Vic's best win aside from Mijares. If I am not mistaked wasn't this the fight where Irene had Vic hurt and the smoke delayed the fight for about 10 minutes allowing Vic to get some time to recover? This a guy who had a long reign as champ by facing the likes of Makepula (KO'd by Arce in 4), Alejandro Montiel (not Fernando) who was in the midst of losing 4 out of his last five, before he faced Vic. Gets ruined by Jhonny Gonzalez in his last fight.

      question still stands
Secobnd the good post notion sir.. break down was well written and thought put. I agree with some that you can probably do this to any great fighter and the fact that we are even having the conversation of whether or not Vic should be on the Top 10 P4P list is good for Vic.

Not to mention Mijares has long been regarded as the top dawg in the divisona and a p4per. Pacheco and vic was close, but to argue that vic wouldnt ko his ass if it wasnt for the fireworks is reaching for bubbles and that is all your doing here. If you dont like biased posters thats one thing, but to try and downplay vics pretty damw good resume makes you one also.
so without the firework delay you're saying vic beats pacheco? Did you see the fight? Vic was almost out on his feet on several occasions. The ko was coming for pacheco if not a ko certainly a win.

Yes and if mayorga won the 12th round he would have had a draw with mosley. But he got ktfo. Yes i did see the fight. Pacheco never asked for a rematch, that says somthing dont it?

Rogelio. Those are all excuses you had buddy. Im putting out the facts for you and your coming up with excuses for each one. FACT OF THE MATTER IS that Vic beat each and every one of those fighters with KO/TKO.

You name one fighter in the Flyweight or Super flyweight division and I can come up with the same excuses and BS.

Who has a better resume than Vic 120 or lower?

what he asks for doesn't take away from what happened in that fight. Vic was on his way out in that fight. What do the score cards read? he was losing that fight and until vic got ko'd by donair that's the toughest fight vic had been in. Do you think before the break vic was winning the fight?

Vic has long been regarded as one of the top dudeds in these lower divisons, and he just ktfo the #1 reginingn champ and a p4per. I dont get why everyone is so hell bent on downplaying the lil mans accomplishments. A lot of you guys are making some posters on here to be biased, but you are doing so by biased yourself.

to be honest, I dont see how Mijares was rated so high in the first place. no offense to him, but he hadnt even beaten Montiel at that point. how are you going to be rated that high when you stay in one weight class and still havent fought the best in your division?

and you guys have to admit that it would feel weird to rate Darchinyan in the top 10 and leave out Donaire, who badly knocked him out.

putting Paul Williams on I can sort of understand...but they could have at least waited until he beat Verno Phillips.

the rankings are gonna be kind of messy because of the upsets everywhere though.
