Paul Williams should not be on the list, period. He's another guy with an impressive recent win that seems to have impressed too much to get them so high. To be honest I wonder why when Hatton was top ten, and lost to the p4p #1 he shot out of the top 10 list. Cotto and PW's have lost to guys lower ranked and stayed in there. I know it's not just about that but there seems to be a lack of consistency sometimes, it's arguable none of them deserve to be top 10.

If he does as well against Verno Phillips as I expect him to, his ranking will be justified.

All three of these guys make him look solid! Any more questions?
Kirilov- you mean the same fighter who had a draw with of all people Cecilio Santos one fight prior, won a close (some say hometown) decision to Jose Navarro despite knocking down Navarro (who Mijares beat pretty soundly), and a loss to Luis Perez who is now on a two fight losing streak? Kirilov is ok but his skills have left him a bit and doesn't have that one punch to make up for his declining skills to hide it
Gorres- really? short of Glenn Donaire (not Nonito mind you) what has he done to warrant being considered solid? He had a draw with Montiel that was said to be controversial a win over Eric Ortiz who IMO was ruined by Viloria and well thats about it
Pacheco- ah yes probably Vic's best win aside from Mijares. If I am not mistaked wasn't this the fight where Irene had Vic hurt and the smoke delayed the fight for about 10 minutes allowing Vic to get some time to recover? This a guy who had a long reign as champ by facing the likes of Makepula (KO'd by Arce in 4), Alejandro Montiel (not Fernando) who was in the midst of losing 4 out of his last five, before he faced Vic. Gets ruined by Jhonny Gonzalez in his last fight.
question still stands
