How did it take this slut 6 and half months to score this fight?

He was trying to arrange a fight with Jermain Taylor for the vacant WBC title. Taylor wanted to fight Lacy, because it offered more money, a HBO date and would probably be easier than Froch (it's debatable, because nobody really knows how good Froch is due to him not beating anyone in the top 20).

Taylor's camp had to wait for Lacy-Mendoza, because there was no point in the fight Lacy if he was coming off of a loss. I guess if Lacy had lost, Froch-Taylor would've gone ahead.

Then again, Lacy-Mendoza was July, so you'd think that they would've arranged Froch-Pascal for sooner than December.

Froch fights on a UK TV channel that gets 20x as many viewers as the one that Calzaghe fights on, so maybe they had to wait for a TV date to be free.
