That's the problem with this place. Too many **** riders and not enough people to say it how it is.

For instance... I would absolutely fucking love it if Roy beats Joe, but with that said, I am pretty sure that Joe will win on points, something around 116-112.

Too many people on here talk with their heart and not their head, and therefore come across as a nut hugger with no idea of what they're talking about.

    Just my 2p.

I don't know which of those fighters he's defeat and who he wouldn't - he'd probably beat Barkley, but perhaps not defeat Hagler. But I do know he'd at least be competitive with anyone in his weight divisions in any era.

James Toney was decisioned twice in his prime by Montell Griffin, who was KOed in his prime to a "Euro bum" by the name of Dariusz Michalczewski. Some of the "Euro bums" aren't as inferior as they're made out to be.
Yea, Blame the ***s holding back the European and white Americans. I blame the ***ish media causing this

I think he beats Toney, Nunn, Hearns, Griffth and Barkley,

I think he beats Toney because as great as Toney was he never realised his full potential, Toney had trouble with southpaws as is evident against Reggie Johnson. Now the prime Joe had some pop back in the day but it wouldn't matter against someone like Toney with great defense and chin. When RJJ defeated Toney, it was throught being faster and throwing combinations he was throwing 4-6 punch combinations the entire fight, something I believe Calzaghe can do.

Nunn was never that great, he had great boxing ability and was a good outside fighter but didn't know what to do when you have someone inside.

Hearns wasn't as great a SMW as he was a Welter, he lost to the likes of Barkley twice. Calzaghe a chin and would hold up and outwork Hearns IMO. I know Hearns is a ATG but he's an ATG at Welter-Jr. Middle.

The same with Griffith, he was a great welter at MW he was defeated by Nino Benvenuti a good fighter not a great one.

Barkley was just never than great of a fighter IMO

He loses to SRR, Hagler and Moore

SRR and Hagler carry to much awesomness to be beaten by Calzaghe and Moore is alot bigger than Joe (might be similar is stature but Moore was filled out at his weight and fought successfully at HW)

Yeah.... because a prime Hopkins is comparable with Ray Robinson, Hagler, Hearns and Archie Moore, right???

            Toney - bad stylistic match-up.
Iran Barkley - didn't I see this guy get twatted by Nigel Benn?

I would pick Calzaghe to beat Griffith and Barkley(easily), but that's it. I seen a lot of people underestimating Michael Nunn, probably because they haven't see him fight. He was a very slick southpaw, good power, great boxer and a volume puncher as well. He was also a very big middle/super middleweight. I like his straighter punches and better hand speed.
