He sneaked out of a Diaconu fight so maybe his management is schrewed enough to get out of this jam as well.

He just had to give up his belt for that.

If he doesn't take this fight, he is giving up money, because Tarver will have his ass in court for breech of contract. He'll fight the rematch I'm pretty sure.

I heard this fight wasn't close (I'm pissed I missed it)... I wonder why Tarver wants a rematch. It's not like Dawson is a huge draw or anything.

Dawson already said he doesnt care about belts. Why would this fight even happen after the first one being so one sided?

Untrue...

If it was in the contract, Tarver can claim damages from him not staying true to the contract and sue Dawson.

Trust me, this fight will happen.

There was no contract with the whole Diaconu thing, that was just the sanctioning body ordering it. All that was at stake for that was the belt.

If Dawson signed the contract, he is legally bound, and he can, and will, be sued if he doesn't go through with the rematch if Tarver wants it.
