There is nothing wrong with fighters picking fights that make them money, as long as there is a competitive balance in which the fighter strives to be the best and take on the best competition.
not that I dont believe you but when did this happen? I know one of Luis' people and this never came up.

It is going to be hard to pull out a win for Mosley in this fight, but it can be done. I cannot believe this dude called out Jin!!!! This dude really got a big mouth!!! I wish he had them balls when fighting williams again........

it happened. they used lou for sparring in prep for quintana. afterwards, they both had no options, so they contemplated fighting each other, but HBO offered bread crumbs to both fighters, so they BOTH declined the offer.

Lou Collazo will fight anybody. He is the number one contender for WBA and WBC. he will fight margarito, berto (the fight he's been chasing all year), rematch shane or hatton, or anyone else that will step up to the plate.

First Shane, then Cotto, then Williams.

It's up to Marg to decide the path he's going to take. Margarito just defeated the man at WW. Williams isn't the only option for Margarito. Although Williams has to happen. Mosley is the logical fight right now. Mosley can give Margarito problems, although I think Shanes chances of winning aren't that great. Williams is the fight for Marg but isn't the smartest fight after that brutal war with Cotto. Let's not forget, Marg said of Cotto: "Of course he hurt me, you can see the damage on my face. He did hurt me".

The same definitely can't be said about the Williams fight, a relatively non-violent affair on the part of Williams whom barely escaped with a close but unam decision. Don't forget PW came close to being KO'd in the later rounds. It may be financially lucrative and Paul may have beaten Marg before but he's 1 and 1 with Quintana and not a great resume. Career-wise, PW is not the fight for today, tomorrow, definitely.

Marg has an upcoming rematch with Cotto in June. Why would he fight Williams before that? Williams after Cotto. But Williams is a must.

This fight will look a lot like the Hopkins vs Pavlik fight. Mosley has the edge in handspeed here and just like Cotto he will find the mark often. But he will clinch and is strong enough to do so effectively. Margarito will get in his shots but don't underestimate Shane's power. He Knocked out Vargas at 154, hurt Winky Wright in the second fight, KO'd a Mayorga who had looked to have actually trained! Mosley has always done well fighting guys like Margarito and I see Mosley getting very up for this fight, very motivated as a win could provide him with an opportunity to fight Cotto in a rematch or maybe even Mayweather. You know Mosley wants to go out a champ and he deserves to.

Really, Marg said that? I'm shocked he said that, even more surprised I never heard that.
