So you are telling me that Margs vs Cintron was the headliner of a PPV card? Incorrect. Both were on regular cable. And if I give you that, then he has headlined 2 PPV cards. Mosley has headlined way more. Mosley is a HOF. Margs is still trying to get there. And will need several big wins against great comp to get there. I still pick Shane by SD.

      Williams?

I love how all these guys have to change the subject from Mosely to Williams. I believe this article is about Marg vs Shane. Marg himself said that he is sure that he and PW will meet pretty soon. Look, Marg didn't take the rematch w Paul right now for whatever reason. Paul didn't give Marg the rematch right after their first fight for whatever reason. Now he wants to jump out and cry about Marg not wanting to fight him.

Don't get me wrong, Marg needs to fight Paul and settle once and for all who the best WW is. However, Marg is seen by many as the top dog at WW right now. A good case can be made for PW being the top dog as he has a razor thin but unanimous decision over Marg. There are some good and legit fights that Marg can take, such as Moslely on his way to a 2009 rematch with Williams. Williams is the best fight for Marg but it's not the only fight.

Not a Floyd fan at all, but he did fight the two highest ranked WW at the time. The Champ Baldy and the former Champ Zab. He made more money in both fights than what Arum offered him to fight Margs. Margs resume is not on the same level as Floyd. Floyd didn't prove that he is an all-time great. Margs hasn't proven that he is a HOF nor a ticket draw. That is why he was in Arum's doghouse for so long.

            that's life man.....it's tough....

even if you lose a fight in, let's say school....but you go around calling picking on other kids, when the guy who beat you up wants to fight you again.....pretty simple.

pretty funny to hear margarito saying someone is basically "scared" to fight him, considering the circumstances.......

now i agree with you margarito has "other" options....but the williams fight will pay him the most, and like you said, its the "best" fight for him....so why not fight him?

im sure you can understand the criticism he gets....

Margarito-Cintron I was an ESPN pay-per-view headline. And Mosley was on the undercard against David Estrada.

              Go away.

margarito beats sugar shane.. margarito will overwhelm shane with his volume punching. shane has slowed down alot.. let's see paul williams v margarito again. cotto took a beating over the course of 11 rounds and i don't look for him to recover anytime soon. cotto needs some tune-ups with lesser fighters before he thinks about getting in the ring with margarito again. i hear talk about the cintron for cotto, i think that is better for him at this stage.

Ok. I stand corrected. That was after Shane lost to Winky. So Margs has headlined 2. ESPN PPV. If that was his only other PPV headliner, then he should know that he does not bring in the bucks. I just wish Margs would make more strong minded decisions on who he should fight. Make the money while you can because there is no guarantee that you will get that chance again.

It's about who you're fighting...that's what PPV is predicated on. I mean, you can't sit here and tell me Margarito isn't the one bringing the bucks when Mosley fought on his undercard LOL.

It's TWO for pay-per-view unless your name is Oscar or Floyd. Period. Mosley fought a big name in his last fight...on regular TV.

margarito doesn't decide who he fights, his promoter does.
