Margarito is a great fighter and Mosley too, is a great fighter. Mosley has had his better days, but I don't see him getting knocked out. Mosley is a very emotional fighter which has been his best and worst asset. Due to those emotions if he truly feels that he can't beat Margarito then he won't let him. Mosley has way better feet then Cotto and general defensive skills. Mosley's offensive skills are better than Cotto's as well, especially when you look at the Mosley/Margarito match up. If you looking at Margarito's last fight with Cotto and simply saying that Mosley will face the same fate...then I think this a false reality. I'm not saying that he will win, but I think a knock out is a little far fetched for Margarito. Remember he hasn't been knocked out and he has a solid chin and decent all around skills even at his age.

What we should be saying, hoping, and expecting is a wonderful fight because that's what I see. A great fight! Like the other post said I see Mosley trying to rack points and PAIN early by going often to the body because I think that its his best bet. In addition, straight right hands followed by left hooks...two's and three's of punishing combos versus flurries. If Mosley fights the same fight as he did in his last two fights, he could get hurt...but I don't think he will. I truly believe that he didn't feel threatened by either fighter, thus, his performance. When he feels threatened he has a completely different attitude in the ring.

I may be in the minority, but I don't think Cotto's loss against Margarito had much to do with his chin. In fact, I think it made me more comfortable with Cotto's chin. The trouble that Cotto faced was a result of the body work that Margarito was doing the whole fight and his inability to avoid brawling with Margo. He simply just doesn't have the stamina to do that, especially with the body work Margarito was doing. Instead of calling Cotto's chin weak, which it isn't, how about people give Margo some credit. He laid the groundwork for what happened later in the early rounds. Thats why it was so obvious that the momentum was gradually shifting.

That being said, I don't think Mosley's good chin will have as much to do with whether Marg stops him or not. I think Marg can stop Mosley with volume, but I think Mosley will study that Cotto/Marg fight and understand that he needs to circle and not be lured into a brawl. His experience will help him from getting stopped. Even if thats the case, I just see Margo being too much for Mosley at this point in his career.

Look Mosley definitely hits harder than Cotto comparing one punch power and Margarito in every fight takes a lot of punches and nothing will change if these two fight. If Margarito tries to slug it out with Mosley I think he will be the one ending up in big trouble or at least having to change his come forward at any costs game plan. I think once Margarito feels Mosley's power and it will be noticeable he will be far less inclined to pressure and you will see Shane get very aggressive. Two other things that will be a factor in this fight will be Mosley's body punching and his strength on the inside. He is not scared to wrestle and grapple and even did so effectively with Mayorga who was 170 fight night and strong as hell. I just hope Mosley doesnt let low HBO money get in the way of this fight happening cause this is his best maybe last shot at a title and setting him up for one more big money fight.

How is Mosley going to hurt Margarito when he couldn't even hurt Cotto? Are you saying that an old Mosley hits Harder than Cintron Cotto or P Williams? , ,maybe 2 years ago ? yes but now I don't think so .How is he going to end up in trouble how is Margarito going to back down from a slugfest? when the man has been doing it his whole life and loves to go toe to toe.
