What the ***. Hamed was the best featherweight for at least 3 years. Hamed was the biggest Marquee name under 147. Hamed is the reason that Pacman, Barrera, Morales, JMM, Vazquez, Marquez are making 7 figures. Boxing Writers are idiots.

I think there are ten fighters on the ballot who deserve to be in more and will be for a LONG time. That's why he ain't getting my vote. Maybe someday, but guys like Marshall have wins over some of the best EVER and guys like Yuh and Chang have been on the ballot YEARS with similar stats. I have to vote for them first. Hamed wasn't one of the GOAT so he can wait his turn.

And, yes, some will vote Gatti. Not me.

And some Boxing fans have no idea who is even on the ballot with him to make it a tough choice.

I saw the others on the list. I would be interested to know how many would vote for Curry but not for Hamed, and vice versa.

so Sharkey and Jess Willard get in the HOF, but Hamed doesnt? interesting.

I bet he will end up in it sooner or later though. maybe this was just an unlucky year.

I think boxers should only make the hall of fame when they are fully retired. Although it seems that way with Naz, maybe they're going to wait it out a few more years until its confirmed.

At least for me, I don't vote based on other bad votes and bad HEAYWEIGHT VOTES are regular

I think they are waiting for him to make it public or official that he's is retired ! No matter if you like him or you do he belongs in there ! I don't like him but he belongs in the hall after he says he's retired !

LOL. Hamed is the reason every one under 140 is getting paid today. Hamed was the best in his division for a long time and lost to another Hall of Famer by UD not by brutal knockout. Hamed just couldn't handle not being the best anymore and lost his desire after he could never reach ALI greatness.
