Bernard was a **** to Joe, it's not like he owes him ****. If he was sporting it'd be a different matter, but he wasn't he was a massive ****head from start to finish. I want to see a rematch however. Anyway Roy might win so it could be a moot point.
how the **** was it fake? it was clearly a low blow. are you not a dude or something? it wasn't hard but it still might have hurt. you are acting like it never landed. incidently that was the only clean punch joe landed all night. cong****. BUM

I like the way the excuse for months to undermine Calzaghes win was Hopkins wasn't a great worthy win being old and shot.

Now all of a sudden he's fine again, he is a great and worthy win.

        Nice contradiction dumb heads.

There won't be a next time Benard, seize the opportunity, you may not get another. Surely a wise old man knows that. Perhaps give Taylor a call, I'm sure you said you'd knock him out the next time, and now will the next time again.

What I don't understand is why fans wouldn't want to see a rematch.

I keep hearing, "Why should Calzaghe fight Hopkins again, let him retire!"

This one killed me, "Calzaghe doesn't need to fight Dawson, he's made his money and should retire."

Calzaghe is a top three pound for pounder...why wouldn't you want to see him in these fights??

As for Hopkins...please. He couldn't stop Pavlik when he had him rocking all over the place. He's not stopping Calzaghe...he can barely HURT Calzaghe.

Cos the first one made us all want to scratch our eyes out with a rusty nail?

On the other hand, I'd like to see Calzaghe fight Dawson.

Hopkins should retire on such a great high and not disgrace himself in the ring again with another performance like the one he gave in April.

Imagine if they did, and he feigned another low blow.

calzaghe, taylor... i like an active b-hops chances at knocking out either in a rematch. i know its bold in the case of calzaghe, having never been stopped, but the combination of B-Hops rebirth at a higher weightclass, the fact that he already dropped Calzaghe and landed all the effective punches on him in the first bout despite a year layoff, and the factor of his recent high activity (this would be his 3rd fight within 1 year), I think he could do it... he already vindicated the "losses" to JT by dominating the man who slumped him in the corner. b-hop can vindicate the "loss" to zaghe with a win over roy OR joey C.

My dream scenario is for Roy to ice Joe in 5 rounds (haha, I know), and then for B-Hop-Roy II to result in a 12 round epic battle in which both men taste the canvas. They are still exchanging blows at the final bell ala Sugar Shane and DLH. They go to the cards for a split draw. they both bury the hatchett, shake hands in the middle of the ring, and retire- the two best fighters lb for lb of the last 20 years!
