Thats a nice story but falls short of what actually happened.

Fighter A (Calzaghe) and Fighter C (C for Chicken aka Hopkins) negotiated the fight, Fighter C agreed to the fight and all the terms.

Fighter C then called 24 hours later cos he had cold feet. Hence he ducked fighter A.

If thats not ducking, then WHAT THE **** IS?

I like Joe and but its kinda hard to when you have bias fans like you! Its not a duck...So I guess Hopkins is suppose to take a pay cut just to fight Joe right? Well no. Calzaghe got injured then was ready to go a few weeks later. Johnson didnt want the fight anymore. So was he ducking? Nope.

Hops backed out when he examined the contract. Don King was taking WAY more than Hops originally thought and also going to be holding on to him as a fighter longer. Typical Don King contract.

Calzaghe had done very little at that point to scare anyone away.
