BHop doesn't need to fight anymore to vindicate his legacy.

RJJ had one of the greatest legacies of all-time, and then everyone spit him out after his losses to Tarver and Johnson; despite his being over 35 years old, and having tried to shed 30 pounds to come down from Heavyweight to make those fights. Prime RJJ pitches a shutout against those guys with relative ease. If Roy beats Calzaghe, and then a young stud like Dawson, he should retire as well.

Hopkins-Jones should be 40-60 with them serving as their own promoters for the fight, the revenue money on top of the fight money should serve up enough bread to shut them both up and make them fight.. NO WAY does Hopkins make more money, he already lost to Jones and real talk Jones wasn't even 100%, he's the more acclaimed fighter so he should get more plus he already beat him, that alone makes it so that he don't get no more cheese. bottom line is Roy gets more bread, Hopkins already lost to Jones so HE should be willing to put aside money for pride, the man beat you so beat him back but for a difference in money which, if being reasonable, isn't so big due to the circumstances he'd rather not fight.. the one who's full of **** here is Bernard, Roy done accepted so many times he doesn't even wanna hear Bernard speak no more.

Agree...In the past many threw around the 60-40 I whop your ass. While there was nothing wrong with 50-50 either. I've alwayz said that their dislike for eachother is what didn't allow the 2nd fight to happen.

Contrary to popular belief, Jones beats Chad Dawson and Tarver. Dawson is a good boxer but he doesn't have that killer instinct to beat a Roy Jones. As for Tarver, I think the weight has become an issue for him. He may do better as a cruiserweight. As a former amateur fighter for 13 years, your body outgrows weight classes and it tells in your performances. Tarver has been losing his fights in the gym, you can see it in his body. Making weight at damn near 40 years of age is alot different than making weight at 30.

I do. At his advanced age Roy is actually still a tad quicker than Chad and has more power. The question is one of stamina for Roy, if he paces himself, work Chad's body to tire him, Roy all the way, plus Roy is crafty. If he relies on that "lay on the rope and let em get tired crap", Chad all the way...

Also, Roy isnt and has never been afraid of Bhop - its all about money and the ole male ego which in pro sports goes hand-in-hand.

Jones will definitely land the crisper punches and Calzaghe will try to befuddle him with volume punching. Calzaghe looked ordinary against Hopkins, who doesn't have near the speed or power of Jones.
