We may have seen the end of Bernard Hopkins last weekend. After his dominating win over Kelly Pavlik, Hopkins told BoxingScene.com's Jose "OnFire" Aguirre that his only motivation to continue fighting was to land the winner of the November 8 bout between Roy Jones Jr. and Joe Calzaghe. Calzaghe, who won a close decision over Hopkins in April, said that he was not interested in a Hopkins rematch and would not even consider the fight. [details]

roy is just tiredd of bernard bringing up roy constantly over the last 2-3 years and nothing EVER coming of it... hes said over and over... everytime he mentions my name he signs to fight someone elseComment

He been speaking about Roy for alot longer then 2 or 3 years. these two got a lot of history and they really don't like eachother. i think it would be a very marketable fight and I would want to see it so I know many others might want to see it as well. If Jones wants a big pay day and the spot light on him he better whoop that Joe Calzaghe and make a fight with B Hop. It would defintely be a PPV event that would get alot of buys.Comment
