It wasn't Kelly Pavlik in there that night. At the last minute they replaced him with the musician Moby.

Kelly didn't look good, but I don't think the catchweight was the decidin factor of the fight. He just got dominated by a guy who had his number.

I think Pavlik's awesome, but he's really in denial. He's even contradicting himself in this article saying it had nothing to do with Hopkins while somewhere in the middle of the article he says he couldn't get off because Hopkins would circle him. If he felt great going into this fight and he was in great shape what else could it have been? Hopkins schooled him, he should deal with it

Agree 100%...Hops did everything he said he would do to Pavlik and then some.

He took away Pavs TArget AND PAV had nothing..Experience, craftiness and a solid game plan is what beat Pav. He is just too young in sport to have develope those skills that B hop has. pAV RELIES on guts, hard hitting and bringing it to his opponents...This fight should open his eyes a little. He is a good fiighter no doubt and has accomplished alot but he can STILL learn a lot from this fight ...

It looked like him getting in the ring. It looked like him in the ring. It lookd like him just there to be hit, and so slow he couldn't land back.

Weird, I can only assume his identical twin was infact in there.

Interestingly, Tito said the same thing about his fight with Hopkins. "I felt like a caged tiger" ~Tito Trinidad.

I guess Hopkins has a way of moving in which you can't get set as easily as you are used to.

It's funny when a fighter says I'm not making excuses while making excuses.

It was you in there Kelly!! Kopkins just exposed your same damn Double jab-Right hand... by using foot work and lateral movement, with a lil shoulder roll.
Kelly an his team went in there for a knockout just to look better than Calzaghe and it back fired.
