    LOL. Still following me around? You hurt *****.

    I think Merchant pretty much summed it up. In the post. Which you obviously didn't read. Obviously "I" was trumpeting Pavlik as an "all time great". So what you posted makes no sense. Typical you Queen.

        Great thread B.

        What was the best undercard fight? I only saw Dib-Luevano.

        I'm surprised that fans left before the end. Imagine if Pavlik had scored a late KO and they had missed it, despite having traveled a long distance and paid money to see the fight.

            Okay let's see if you can be civil, I highly doubt it:

            I think that Hopkins seemed better conditioned tonight than against especially Calzaghe, and Winky. Even more than Tarver but it's hard to say. Hopkins has never tired in his fights before the Winky fight, or the Calzaghe fight and didn't tire here as much as he did in those two fights. Is that because he was better conditioned? What Joe or Winky did? Against a punching bag in Pavlik? I'll have to watch the tape of this fight before I can reasonably answer that.

            I noticed that if he had been younger he could have put Pavlik away from the 8 or 9th onward but didn't think he would. He would hurt Pavlik and back off from getting tired from throwing.

            Pavlik was completely brought into Hopkins game plan so it must be pretty easy to preserve energy when the fight is completely your way.

            As for how much he has left? I don't know. I noticed the Pavlik glaring weaknesses from ringside so I'm sure Hopkins did too hence making it an easy fight. Again I'll have to watch the fight on tape next week. I just got back and this is all from memory.

              Pavlik's fans better not turn on him like Taylor's hometown did.

                To be fair I think that the arena was 80 percent Pavlik and it's not like it emptied out or anything. Just saw a lot of people, especially from the upper tiers. Unfortunately.

                Again I think these were UFC style "white hope" fans and not real boxing fans. UFC fans are not loyal to fighters, only brands. Most have no idea about the sport they are watching so if true I guess I'm not shocked.

                Lots of fights which I assume could be from the fan rivalry .

                LUEVANO v.BILLY DIB;

                ABNER MARES v MELENDEZ;

                MARCO ANTONIO RUBIO v. ENRIQUE ORNELAS- this one was pretty fun.

                    Even Merchant knew the Slappy groupies would be all over this ****.

                    See, the thing is, even though I like Pav more, I like B-Hop too. But what I knew would be hard to swallow about the defeat would be the Cal****ty factor. I knew he'd be revisionist **** going on and the Calsploogey fans would use Bernard's win for their own agenda.

                    If Calducky wasn't in the picture, I woudn't be so disappointed with the loss, because the performance by Hopkins, viewed in context, was wonderful and a bit of a classic.

                      I won't turn this into a hate thread because I find it irritating and pathetic that Calzaghe fans (as predicted) would make a bunch of threads about how Hopkins win credit's Joe's so I don't think there's a need to dog Joe here either.

                      Merchant said what he said, seemed to know what was up. He would be fun to have a drink with. Pretty cool guy.
