Maybe Pavlik got poisoned like Tarver did?

I knew I'd be hearing this. I bet a lot of people are gonna blame the referee too.

          NONE. AT. ALL.

You ****ers are ridiculous. Hopkins performance was flawless and he kicked Pavlik's ass. He didn't impose size. He boxed and taxed his ass.

"Well warp the fight would look different at 160"

Well no ****. Hopkins can't make weight and if he could, he would be drained completely. If this was prime for prime, Hopkins would have knocked Pavlik out. Typical people. Never wanting to give Hopkins his credit.

It may have effected him a little bit. Bernard just confused the hell out of him. Pavlik was never really that fast or athletic of a guy anyways. The other guys he fought just couldn't handle what Pavlik brought. Bernard on the other hand could and knew exactly what he had to do to beat him and executed it to almost perfection. At 160 this fight would have looked the same way.

Thats why i love hopkins. He is one of the most technical and crafty fighters of all time. Hopkins would have shocked any fighter because no one expected him to fight this type of fight. Its like he thought how he would gameplan against himself if he was pavlik and switched up from that.

BTW pavlik and his camp didnt take b-hop serious. B-hop still would have won but from the first few minutes of the fight you could tell pavlik was prepared.

How can you guys even blame the weight at all?

                1) Pavlik said before the Taylor rematch that the extra weight will help him more than Taylor b/c he doesn't have to cut as much.

                2) Pavlik weighs at LEAST 170(most likely more) on fight night. The only difference is that he didn't have to go through dehydration/rehydration which should have HELPED his stamina tonight.

I didn't realize that Pavlik went up 10lbs. That's a lot of weight. I bet Hopkins felt his punching power, but Maybe Palivk had a hard time adjusting to the weight. Cus he's already a little slow at the 160 lbs class. But he has the timing down for that weight.

A little is all it is...

Like I said in another thread... weight issues correct 115-113 decision losses, but it seems to be more than weight if it is a 119-107 loss.

Kelly Pavlik isn't in Bernard Hopkins' league at any weight. The extra weight didn't help Pavlik but anyone who thinks the fight would have been any different at 160 is a fool. At 160, Bernard is even faster.

                      Hopkins schools Pavlik. Period.
