Here’s my list of boxing’s current best gatekeepers:

        Jameel Mccline
        Steve Forbes
        Zab Judah
        Riccardo Mayorga
        Howard Eastman
        Andrew Golota
        Emmanuel Augustus

        Who are yours?...
Did you just compare "Riccardo Mayorga" to Howard Eastman or Emmanuel Augustus. Mayorga isnt a gate keeper, you cant be if your a 3 time world champion and former Ring champ. Mayorga is an ELITE Keeper, if you beat him your HOF.

He's a glorified gate keeper. He can beat the young bucks but can't get past the elite.

What? "he's patient but but but the peekaboo"

            Please.

            Gatekeeper.

He's only lost to Margs and Baldy on a dq.
Who are these "young bucks" that he can't beat.

A gatekeeper is someone who is usually matched against top prospects looking to enhance their name and shoot for a world championship. A gatekeeper is someone the prospects promoter feels can be beaten while providing a decent test.

No one really wants to fight Clottey. That's not what a gatekeeper is.

Jermain Taylor? Gatekeeper? Former middleweight champion of the world and has only lost to one person. Gatekeeper?

              Idiots.

Forbes on the other hand with his fights against Bojado, D. Hopkins, and others is deserving of the title of "gatekeeper."

At one time, yes. But he's slipped beyond that more recently.
