sure Abe's one of the best at 160

but I doubt an Abraham-Wright clash would be on PPV for example.

would still like to see it though and soon

as Winky's a fighter, and especially at his age the long layoff won't help him at all.
arthur is a name in Germany but he cant draw flys to **** in America, if they put them on a PPV I’d be surprised if they draw more than 50k buys. For all their talents both arthur and Winky fall short in the drawing fans department.

Malignaggi .. obviously .. next up

      then the DLH/Pac winner

and TBH I don't see Hatton winning that, so maybe for good ole times he'll fight Witter

      and come one D

"I can't help but be impressed by what Bradley did against Cherry. He looked like what Chad Dawson is supposed to be doing."

Bradley did what he should have done vs an over matched opponent dominated him.. why is that so impressive?

Tim Bradley's no doubt talented, but the way he's being talked about on here am I missing something? did he unify a belt yet or something?
The only bargining chip Witter had to attract Hatton was the 'BC belt, now he's lost it Hatton can simply point the finger and say I told you so. Witter-Hatton will never happen

Idk, I just have a hard time believing that Tszyu was good to go before that fight, and seriously lost everything he had in that fight alone.

Side note: I know you are clearly a bit biased towards UK fighters (other than Witter, who you won't even acknowledge the existence of ), but you seem to at least know how to make arguments to defend them, and they aren't dumb arguments either. I don't understand why so many people have such a problem with you as a poster.

Maybe I just like your name because it reminds me of on of my favorite songs... well, ****, two actually... inquire if your heart desires.
I dont think he had everything before the fight nor lost everything after. I think he'd have had enough left to beat most other Jr Welterweights that night but Hatton's style just took it out of him. And its always hard to recover from such a crushing defeat. If he'd lost a close decision, it might've been different.

I just support our fighters naturally - just wanna see them do well. Im always honest about their abilities too. I dont talk them up to being something they're not.

I never really rated Witter or liked him as person, I felt he made a name off Hatton without actually achieving much himself. There are a few I dont like, but people dont really pay attention to that on here. People tend to start name-calling and generalising if they start to lose grip on an argument with me. Im used to it and its quite funny seeing how worked up they get. Cheers for the kudos anyway.

        What songs?

Witter blew any chance he had of meeting hatton when he lost to bradley
Few more big wins and maybe he would of convinced Hatton to fight him cuz
          it was on the cards..
Im not sure Witter can even win a title again let alone get close to the rickster...

It's rich from a Calzaghe fan to some extent, but Hattons contradicted himself on this topic even more than Joe.

Months ago he said maybe one or two more fights. Few weeks ago a few more years yet. Then very recently he'll retire if he loses to Paul. Now, 09 is his last year.

Ricky and Joe could do with some masking tape at times.

Well its all dependent on how he performs against Paulie.

If he loses, then he retires.

If he wins, then he has a couple more fights, which could take up a long time since he only fights like twice a year.

Again, the same as Calzaghe. A little odd ain't it.

Except Calzaghe's 36 and long talked of retiring even before this.

Hattons just 30, keeps giving mixed signals, and may retire if he loses, what kind of fighters spirit is that?

He's got the goods but's he's losing the confidence and motivation imo. Not a good sign. If he put his heart and soul into the game like he says he does, he'd be a better fighter like he also says he should be.

I dont think its mixed signals at all.

He wins, he fights a couple more times. He loses, he retires. He'd pretty much lose all marketability if he was beaten convincingly by Paulie. But if he wins, hes in line for some massive fights.

Think hes just being honest about where his career is at this stage.

nah ricky is more consistent than joe.

hatton will probably fight 1-2 more fights within a few more years (he only fights at most 2 times a year) and if he loses to malignaggi then that cancels everything else.

joe said he'd fight pavlik and not fight rjj then does a complete 180 and fights rjj and not fight pavlik. there's no way to make that contradiction work.
