Chad Dawson's looked far from spectacular in the past several fights I've seen him (minus vs Adamek, Ruiz and Mendoza .. the last of those 2 being outmatched .. ala Cherry)

but last time out Dawson had his struggles when in with a live opponent such as Glenn Johnson.

uh I think you meant against Cherry, and I get what your saying

but is measuring Bradley's efforts vs Edner Cherry .. a career lightweight
fair to the rest of the 140 pound division?

Tim Bradley dominated a natural lightweight. how does that reflect how he'd do against the best fighters?

good performance or not, IMO it's not an accurate judgment. Bradley vs Witter would be a much more valid claim

Hatton has already proved himself (nothing he can do to prove himself to his haters so he doesn't need to worry about them, just keep ignoring them) at 140. He's getting old, has been in plenty of tough fights and always said from the beginning he wasn't going to fight past 30.

I've no problems with Hatton taking the biggest money fights he can get before he hangs 'em up. Ricky Hatton has already had a HOF career.

A fight with Junior Witter is long overdue. I'd like to see him fight JMM.

It certainly is but he ain't fighting Witter. Hatton has been thanking the gods that Bradley came along and took the pressure off of him - because there was starting to build some serious momentum for that fight.

Btw, is that one of those talentess hags from Sugababes in your avatar? She looks a'ight.

I would like to see Bradley against the likes of Urango, Holt and Torres before I even think of saying hes the best at 140.
Witter was having a really bad night, he clearly wasn't himself that night. Tim isn't willing to give him a rematch.

NO idea why JMM is on the list, doubt theres much money in that. Obviously the floyd return is his main target, although i think they could fight 100 times and floyd would take 99 of them. i agree bradly should be there. would be a nice way to finally shut witter up, and also it makes him undeniably the best at 140, if he quits without fighting him there will always be the idiots who say he ducked bradley, he's a coward etc

yeah if hatton wants to retire with victories he should pick on former featherweights. if he wants losses he should avoid dlh and floyd.

He's got to stop trashing the guy who guided him to the top.

It's one thing to need a change, another to bash the old trainer.
