Did Roy Jones Jr Duck Nigel Benn?

Debates imply a logical argument or discussion. With Dirk there is none of that. He is simply being a biased *******. He just tries to hide it.Comment

In Roy's prime he would have toyed with this fool that priced himself out. ****, he should have come to the States and fought Roy for free.I agree with you there. Roy Jones was the bigger name and the better fighter IMO so any potential opponents should have came to America and took a lower % than Roy. If it's true Nigel Benn wanted 10 million for a Jones fight then thats ridiculous, especially considering it was his number one priority to fight Roy Jones! Why price yourself out of it? Makes no sense.
Nobody knew Benn in states. Jones would have made no money and when Jones would win (easy), he would get criticized for fighting yet another bum. lose-lose situation for Jones.
In Roy's prime
Jones>Calzaghe>Benn.Comment

I think Jones would of hurt Benn badly and i like nigel..
Benn would of had his moments and took some punishment to be stopped
but Jones back then when they were talking about fighting was **** hot*NOTE Calzaghe* that was a yonks ago he would of toyed with Benn and stopped him lateComment

Benn KO'd Dewitt and Barkley in the US. I think boxing fans did know him.In Roy's prime he would have toyed with this fool that priced himself out. ****, he should have come to the States and fought Roy for free.

Yes......why not? Jones didnt even step into the ring with either of them. Collins beat them both twice.Do you even realize what a hypocritical idiot you are? And beating Benn and Eubank != being a star that warrants big bucks.
Once again, Jones faught and beat Thulani Maligna who beat Benn. Jones even mentions that Benn was his only real challenger and lost that distinction by losing to Thulani before the Lucas fight.
Again, logic quiz moron: If you WANTED a fight your whole life, if that was your whole reason for boxing, you would NOT price yourself out of it. Ever.
Typical Dirk. Ignoring reality for his British bubble world.
And I thought you weren't going to respond to me any more? LOL.
at Jones fanboy triangle theory excuses. Benn was clearly past his best when he lost to Sugar Boy Malinga. He had already beaten him years before of course which you ignore.
Where does anyone say Collins priced himself out? All Merchant says was that he turned down an offer. And Larry Merchant is infallible of course.

Ruiz floored Holyfield? Thats supposed to mean he has power?
I was talking about in ther respective weight classes.
Benn at 160 and 168 was the most dangerous fighter in the world and the hardest puncher.
Ruiz at heavyweight is a slow, average, really crap fighter with no real punch.Comment
