    same goes for sturm.

i'd even go as far to say that taylor could get a win over both.

abraham beat up on a fighter with no real boxing technique in miranda...sure it still deserves credit (miranda is one tough customer) but not worth all the attention and praise he's got for it.

pavlik and taylor are the real deal...these guys arent.
Look I love Pavlik and Taylor, but Im not quick to write off contenders before they have a chance to prove themselves. If this was the case Pavlik should not have been given a chance aginst Taylor. As for AAs record, honestly how different is it from Pavliks before Pavlik faught Taylor.

Abraham IMO is one of the most overrated fighters out there. He's basically Mayorga with high guard defense the way he relies on throwing wild haymakers. He'll get exposed one of these days.

Thats your opinion and your entitled to it, but only time will tell. AA is my favorite fighter and in all honesty I see one flaw and one flaw only.........WORKRATE.

Your opinion, not worthy of a comment though.

            Agreed

Most people have no clue about AA. They know him since the fight against Miranda and that's it. He is one of the hardest punchers p4p, comparable to Nigel Benn in the 90s, and he has a very solid defense and can take punches with ease. Most important: He has an iron will. The guy is still underrated.

how exactly is Abraham SOOOO over-rated??? please enlighten us all...

Edison Miranda was a KNOCK-OUT GOD on these forums before Abraham handed him one of the worse KO's of 2008... now you rarely see a Pantera Miranda fan talkin big or any of his avatars...

Get over the shell of Miranda that prince arthur beat up. Anyone that saw the beating Kelly gave him knows Miranda wasnt the same guy when AA fought him the second time.

Pav will certainly box circles around him because AA uses the classic turtle shell/counter punching style. So for the majority of the fight, he will be on his back foot covering up while Pav outworks him. The question isn't whether he has the most power Pav ever faced, the question is how will he handle the hardest puncher HE has ever faced. He has to open up sooner or later or he'll get demolished on the cards and when he does, I see the KO coming for Pav.

how was he not the same guy???

he talked BIGGG before the fight like he was the same guy.. he was in better shape before the fight than he had ever been... i didnt see a physical or mental break down.

you can't seriously say that after one KO loss to Pavlik he was shot or somethin??

if thats the case then he should have 100% retired after an even worse KO by Abraham.

I dont buy the BS that Miranda wasnt the same after Pavlik... that is just taking alotttttt away from a true true champ with serious power in Abraham

Agreed, Miranda was the "hardest puncher in the MW division" and he was going to beat Pav rather easily....Well....we saw how that went down. Yes, Pav gave Miranda a thorough beatdown and he was not himself in the first OR the second fight with AA because of it.
