I dont question the fight with Jones because I think its actually a harder fight. I explained his actions quite clearly as being driven by securing the Jones payday (something which he thought he would never get, hence the Pavlik talk) before they both retired

The constant stream of excuses is unbelievable. Dirk will DO ANYTHING to excuse anything Joe does. And to build up a shot Roy Jones so that Joes win over a guy who should have retired a while back looks really good and legacy defining rather than a guy basically beating up an old shot fighter.

That was an off topic point as you said. Your excuses are boring. Also trying to discuss this kinds of things is a waste of time with you. When presented with evidence, you nitpick, distract, wax semantics, and generally make excuses all while avoiding the main point anyone is making if it's against Joe or a UK fighter.

Calzaghe showed signs of slowing down against Hopkins. Yet i can almost gurantee it wont be made an issue should he lose or even look bad against Jones.

Hard to take a guy seriously who thinks :

Tito (at this stage),Prince Badi, and henshaw are good competition.

Bunce is a good legit source on boxing. As legit as Larry Merchant.
Pavlik has less boxing skill than Lacy
Joe could beef up to heavyweight and win.
Joe is old too, just like Roy. Joe should be given credit for fighting Roy this late in his game.
Joe is anywhere near as shot as Roy.
Any ****** thing Joe might say is excusable cause someone somewhere else has done it.
