1. Joe Calzaghe- Undisputed, undefeated, 21 tilte defenses. Ring Magaazine Super Middle weight champ, Ring Magazine LH champ. doesn't have many fights left in him, But I have him #1 for now.
2. Kelly Pavlik- Undefeated, Undisputed Middleweight Champ. Sky is the limit for him, And if he KO's B-Hop then maybe he could be #1. Only 26 years old is a big positive for him also.
3. Bernard Hopkins- I know alot of people would disagree with me on this one, But the guy is a freak of nature, 43, and still a very good fighter. Gave Calzaghe everything he could handle. Some even thought Hopkins won. Something tells me he won't be #3 come October 18 though. Ring Magazine #2 LH.
4. Mikkel Kessler- Only lost was to Calzaghe in a great fight. He is the future of the SM division, but has to step up th elevel of competition.
5. Arthur Abraham- Undefeated, just KO'd Edison Miranda in an impressive manner, probably Pavlik biggest threat at MW. Great power, solid defense.
6. Chad Dawson- Undefeated LHW contender, probably has the brightest future at LHW. I think he beats Tarver next month no question. Chin is not the best , But has good skills, good workrate.
7. Jermain Taylor- only fighter he lost to was Pavlik. He beat Hopkins twice. People tend to forget about him for some reason. Still a very good fighter. Should beat Jeff Lacy with ease.
8. Antonio Tarver- I know Tarver is rated higher then Dawson, But he has beaten the better competition of the two. Talks better then he fight similar to Hopkins. Has had a good career, But I think this is his last big fight before hanging it up. His last fight with Clinton Woods was a borefest.
9. Lucian Bute- I know he hasn't really beatin anyboby, But I'm putting him at #9 cause he has LOADS of potential. In 5 years he could easily be #1 on my list. He could probably beat some guys on my list already.
10. Carl Froch- His biggest test to date is against Canada's Jean Pascal. has a great sneaky Uppercut that comes from nowhere. Time is against him he is 31, And a win aginst Pascal should catapolt him to a fight with Kessler or maybe a fight with Jermain Taylor.
Next in line... Felix Sturm,Glenn johnson, Anthony Mundine, Dennis Inkin,
