It's why I laugh at the "he beat smaller guys" argument. Hopkins is just an incredible physical speciman who doesn't fall out of shape - he probably COULD make 154 if he really wanted then. I mean, 156? That's incredible.

Where you start doesn't mean you are natural there, by that logic Cotto is just a blown up Lightwelter. De La Hoya is a Natural Welter, or Lt-Middleweight. If I had a fight today I would be a super middleweight, I'm not a natural 168 pounder though.
Oh, and B Hop was NEVER Weight Drained. Towards the end of his Middleweight reign he did show signs of it slightly though, and Steward commented that a move to Light Heavy would be a good idea. But he was not drained at that weight.
Hopkins didn't put on much weight after the weigh-ins either.
Oscar was down several times as a lightweight but he is now known for his solid chin at welterweight.
De La Hoya and Trinidad were both at their best at WW/LMW for sure, but Trinidad had the frame to fight at middleweight as well, De La Hoya did not.

Hopkins started at light heavyweight and lost, so he weight-drained down to middleweight to fight smaller men.
Hopkins sure fought pretty good for years of being being "weight drained" lol. If Hopkins "weight drained" to 160 then Delahoya "weight drained" to make 135. Your agenda fails in this argument.

Most Of His Biggist Wins Were Over Smaller Men, Natural Welterweights. He Started As A Light Heavyweight.
He Was Convicted For Stealing Old Ladies' Purses. That's Low.
He's A Poor Sport, Who Couldn't Be A Man And Acknowledge Calzaghe Won Their Fight.
He Even Pretended He Was Hurt From A Low Blow - That's Poor Sportsmanship Too.
And He's A Racist Who Said He Would Never Let A White Boy Beat Him.
