Is Hopkins an ATG??

Don't even talk to this guy. He's a ****ing idiot.
He still thinks eubank was in his prime when Joe fought him. He's living under Joe and all UK fighters' ballsacks. It's like trying to convince a **** that ***s arent' that bad. Waste of time.Comment

besides Calzaghe... no fighter in his 30's was as good as B-Hop was in his 30's. 20 defenses at MW is an ATG attribute. So yes he is an ATG. He did whatever worked for him inside the ring and that was to bewilder and punish his opponents. He's boxing's wild card cuz his style can beat anyone but at the same time... he can be beat.
*edit
I'd like to add that B-Hop is a throwback fighter in its truest form. He's a 15 round type of fighter.Last edited by RisAri0; 09-18-2008, 07:41 AM.Comment

De La Hoya started at 135 and had a lot of his earlier success there.
Hopkins started at light heavyweight and lost, so he weight-drained down to middleweight to fight smaller men.Comment

Pacquiao started at 108, is he a natural 108 pounder?
Where you start doesn't mean you are natural there, by that logic Cotto is just a blown up Lightwelter. De La Hoya is a Natural Welter, or Lt-Middleweight. If I had a fight today I would be a super middleweight, I'm not a natural 168 pounder though.
Oh, and B Hop was NEVER Weight Drained. Towards the end of his Middleweight reign he did show signs of it slightly though, and Steward commented that a move to Light Heavy would be a good idea. But he was not drained at that weight.Comment

imo 47 is odlh's natural weight, and bhop was not weight drained at 60. you can't be weight drained for all those yrs and be a champion as long as he was. as t stated he may have been at the end a little, but overall he was not imo.Comment

Calzaghe had more trouble making 168 than Hopkins did to make 160 as well lol. I would say De La Hoya was his best at Welter, but I think a case could be made for 154 as well.Comment
Funny ****.
