Then Trinidad expanded to double his size, and Shane went back down.

Also, Kostya Tszyu would have been a great fight for a superstar lightweight who is moving up in weight... no idea why he skipped a weight that actually might have served him well, or at least better than 147 immediately.

I like the guy, but he cheated. His likeable personality usually gets him a pass though. Imagine if Mayorga or Margarito would have been doing their shopping at Balco? Career over.

He won belts at 135, 147 and 154. he is #2 ranked WW right after Marg.....Not too bad of a resume.....Lefty

And roiding up seems to be the opposite of the classy thing to do.

You're gonna blast him for losing to wright? Oscar in his prime wouldn't have done so well against Wright. NOONE wanted that fight, the dude is a puzzle. I commend Shane for even taking that fight and he adjusted VERY WELL in the rematch. Blame his wife for making the worst possible career choices when he had all the talent in the world. Also, I thought he beat Cotto, and even being 1-1 against prime Oscar is pretty impressive. Losing to only 3 fighters when you are a 3 division champ is nothing to cry about. You guys are making too big a deal of his shortcomings. Shane is a great fighter and a hall of famer no doubt.
