Mosley still has everyones respect until this day!!

If u dislike Shane as a fighter, cool, if you love him, cool, but everyone seems to respect Shane as a warrior and a nice guy. That is something hard to come by in this sport. He is a fighter that people usually want to see do well or respected if he wins against who they wanted to win. Shane reminds me of the fresh prince, how can u not like this dude. Big ups to sugar Shane, he was, and is great for this sport. Bring it on mayorga and margo, cuz u know he comes to fight!!

His resume kind of sucks, and he gets praised to death as a great fighter, even though he has lost virtually every big fight he has had, except for a legit win over Oscar at 147 and a bull**** win at 154.

Is that not a reason to not like the guy?

No, lots of people lost respect for him over the drug allegations.

He couldn't win enough fights in a row to set up a fight with Trinidad.

It was probably next on the agenda after Forrest, but he lost.

It was for sure on the agenda after Wright I, but he lost.

Then Trinidad expanded to double his size, and Shane went back down.

Also, Kostya Tszyu would have been a great fight for a superstar lightweight who is moving up in weight... no idea why he skipped a weight that actually might have served him well, or at least better than 147 immediately.
