I don't want to sound like I'm harrasing you but could you please outline your argument as to why you think Floyd's resume is superior? What fighters has he beaten that leads you to believe he has a better resume than Jones?

This post is implying that Floyd clearly fought and defeated more big names than Roy Jones. In my view, if you accomplish this "by far" that would constitute having a better resume.

Also, why can't you compare two fighters' resumes who fight in different weight classes? You simply analyse the quality of the fighters they were able to beat and assess them accordingly. If what you say is true, we should limit comparisons on resumes to fighters fighting in the same weight class and the same era.

You're ******ed. Jones beat Toney, Hopkins, Virgil Hill, Tarver(1st fight), and John Ruiz. He won titles from middleweight all the way to heavyweight. I think that's way better than Gayweather's resume.

You forget the body snatcher, Mike McCallum.

Toney and Hopkins alone are better than everyone on Floyds resume combined.

Jones Jr, many accuse him of fighting nobody. But the fact is he defended his title vs many young undefeated prospects. I dont think Floyd did that once at WW.
