I think you take a dim view of Kessler and a favourable one of Taylor, whereas with me it is the other way around! I think Kessler is one of the most talented orthodox boxers I've seen, whereas I see taylor much more as a 'quite good at most things but not brilliant' kind of a guy. Kessler has major weapons that work for him, whereas I'm really not sure that Taylor has something similar.

I do agree on Kessler's flaws though, for the most part he boxes one way and he did look out of ideas againt Calzaghe, but you might say the same thing about Taylor when he fought Pavlik, who has far fewer dimensions to confuse you with than Calzaghe.

I already know what he said. Dummy. You explained why you think he did it. You're an excuse maker. Just like your hero!

Uneducated is thinking that Calzaghe would win at heavyweight. Learn some boxing. Then get back to me.

Oh wait you can't- you're way too self involved in the UK RULEZ YANKS SUX bull****.

*I will patiently await your boring ass "but I'm objective" response-save it. We can see right through you. You are phonier than a Chinese Redhead*

fair enough, and i actually like both fighters alot. but if i had to pick 1 it would be taylor. he is less refined, but i think overall he is the talent, and could be made into a better fighter. the next couple 3 years will tell the tale.

lol, the hypocrisy in this article is astounding. He starts off saying how pavlik hasn't fought anyone yet and he is a one hit wonder and needs to prove himself in order to step in the ring with him. Then, a couple of paragraphs later, he starts talking about offering Pavlik fights twice. Once before Pavlik even stepped in the ring with taylor and another right after the first Taylor fight. And not only that, but the second offer is utterly ridiculous cuz Taylor had it in the contract with pavlik that if he lost, they would have a rematch at a catch weight of 164, so there is no way Pavlik could have signed to fight Calzaghe. This is just disgusting of Calzghe to do.

But it only counts if one of the yank fighters actually dares fight Kessler! If they continue being stay-at-home protected bums beating up Jeff Lacy and ducking the Viking Warrior, all bets are off!

                Jokes.

I agree, Taylor has enormous potential. He just needs to find the right trainer like a Mayweather Sr or a Freddy Roach to hone his skills.

The coward Yanks have to beat the TERROR that is Mundine first to get a shot at the Viking Warrior.

He cant win with you haters, if he fought and won god you would discredit it. Ring Champ in two weights and he still getting no respect. If he was American he would be getting wanked over on a daily basis.
First class response Broffy, quite agree!

I can't believe the narrow mindedness of some americans and I don't mean the ALT-Assassins etc, I mean the red-neck Pavlik die hards. They are so far from reality it is unbelievable! After rushing out this morning to open an account at their local bank in order to get a free rifle, they fill up their generators with petrol in order to power their computers, and come on here praising their new found god after one significant win.

We have the same in our country with Amir Kahn. Everyone is hyping him up as a super star after his olympic silver medal, yet he hasn't fought any named fighters yet or anyone that will test him! We are bad at hyping up, but no where near as bad as some across the pond.

I hope Calzaghe and Pavlik fight if they are both successful, because Calzaghe will ruin Pavlik, just as he ruined Lacy (another over-hyped star). But I believe Hopkins will beat Pavlik, and Calzaghe will emerge victorious after a close fight with Jones.
